@Paul Blackman The fighters really fight... The whole circus around and deciding who fights who is determined by money, but the fights themselves are very real... That is why a legend got beaten and then White has to admit that they shouldn't have let him fight anymore, because it diminishes his legendary status. White expected the legend to have a chance, but he just got smacked down hard, even if his opponent felt bad for him...

@panspermiapancakes 3 жыл бұрын
I don't care for Dana but when he said it, it was actually true. Nate was the classic story of a talented sibling to a UFC/MMA star. The Diaz bro's had a cult following within the MMA community and rightfully deserved, but Nate was losing a lot of big named fights and trailing along as a "middle of the pack" journeyman before he beat Conor. While his brother won belts and fought some of the biggest fights in the sports history at the time. It's still weird to me knowing that more people know who Nate is because they missed the Nick Diaz era.

@@emanuelmartinez7267 Not necessarily that GSP was right or wrong, I mean Dana actually just dragged him publicly and I personally think, with someone as so beloved as GSP and someone that made them so much money on PPVs, merch, etc. he should have kept that privately. Obviously that’s not in Dana’s wheelhouse but I don’t think he should have publicly bashed him. Especially because after that during interviews GSP revealed his health issues, Johnny got off the juice and went on the decline, and it was revealed that the Khabib fight almost happened. So a lot of fans just looked at it as Dana being a dick again instead of the perspective you just stated.

@@ryanedwards8575 yeah I see your point but that's never been Dana's style, in the heat of the moment he's going to speak his mind and like it or hate it that way of handling things have left an impact on the fans. How many people can name the president for Rizen, bellator or One fc? Dana's approach works and whenever he feels like he's personally getting f*cked over by his fighters he let's it all out regardless of who it is, when Conor punched that old man he called him an idiot, every time Jones does some stupid shit he calls him out bluntly, both those guys made Dana a ton of money with Conor being his main cash cow so while I agree he shouldn't be so crass with a classy guy like GSP, that was never the Dana we knew

I don’t know if Dana can emphasize with anyone that doesn’t benefit him one way or another. The dudes morale is a straight up “I already got mine so why should I give a fuck about those that don’t have theirs?” I mean look how he treats the legends and pillars that helped build the UFC just as much as he had “ Fuck them, I don’t owe them anything their contracts are over they got payed for their work yea many people worked equally as hard as I Dana white worked in order to make the company as profitable as it is today but My contract say I get 70% more money then they doso that’s that” Dana white is the most disgusting kind of capitalist. The ones that want 80% of the money to to go to 10% of the work force Aka upper management and owners for being responsible for 30% of the work that contributed to 40% of the profit . And for the 90% of workers responsible for 70% of the work that contributes to 60% of the profit he wants them to get payed 20% of the money. This is why America is dying, Modern average Americans work more and earn their employers more profit then other Americans in history but we’re getting payed the lowest of all Americans in history, because the 1% responsible for 30% of the work is is getting 90% of the profit while the 99 percent responsible for 70% of the work is getting 10% of the profits. Disgusting

Cyborg not being able to make 14o, let alone 130, is what kept her away. Rhona had nothing to gain by moving up and it would never have been a title fight if she did. Weight classes exist regardless of how much Cyborg wishes they didn't.

Even on a video that has nothing to do with the Paul brothers they're hated on lmao. I don't get why people hate on them. They have 3 years of boxing experience and are now fighting actual fighters, mma champions at that. Not Jakes fault Ben came unprepared yet now he's fighting WOODLEY. And Logan stepped in the ring with one of the greatest of all time. Sure the weight was crazy but again these kids have the skill of armatures and are putting the work in to actually stand in the ring with legends. They're prize fighters, stop comparing them to division fighters seeking world titles. They deserve credit in my opinion.
@CorporealHunter
@CorporealHunter 3 жыл бұрын
Ben Askren never had a good stand up and was a wrestler, Floyd clearly put on a show and basically sparred for money instead of actually fighting, and the Woodley fight has yet to happen so we cant yet know if its a diluted money fight or an actual competition. They don't have credit, they haven't fought real competition, and they certainly haven't even remotely put in the work to stand in the ring with legends.

It's not about the fights. Or who your fighting. It's about your attitude towards the boxing world. Logan is actually not too bad but Jake Paul is an asshole. I respect Logan with what he's accomplished but I can't stand jakes attitude.

@@Demonik-Angelx1 Jake aint the first disrespectful boxer and he sure as hell wont be the last. He's putting on a character to sell ppv's... Have you ever heard of a heal? He knows he's hated and acts like this on purpose because it generates MONEY. Get's everyone talking about him and everyone buying the ppv hoping to see him get knocked out. You may not like it but he's not disrespectful to boxing just because he acts disrespectful towards his opponents. It's called trash talk. People could say the same exact thing about Connor Mcgregor. Howd he get so huge? Trash talk.

@@CorporealHunter That's just you being delusional giving excuses. You try and step in the ring with Ben Askren and knock him out or last 8 rounds with Mayweather. Reality check, you wouldn't. Yeah sure Ben was a wrestler but he's still an mma champion that took shots to the face his whole career and persevered yet still couldn't last with Jake. The fact he even took a fight with Woodley in itself should give him credit. You just don't like em and there for refuse to understand what it takes to step in the ring.
