I have one that uses to be my supervisor. She tried punking me and made ten others quit. Went to HR they acted like they were scared so I reported them all to the labor board. No one threatens to make me work off the clock and gets away with it.

It's a shame so many of these grown-ups act worse than toddlers with these temper tantrums in public. I've been yelled at, and threatened by at least 3 other women before in a grocery store, along with another male co-worker, but I didn't get on their level and yell back at them. Fortunately none of them put their hands on us, and a group of managers and the security guard intervened.

My favorite encounter with a Karen in the wild: It was Valentine’s Day 2020. My wife and I had booked an overnight getaway to Pigeon Forge. As we were checking into our hotel room, the lady in line ahead of me was berating the poor desk clerk because all of the King suites were sold out for the night. On Valentines Day. Apparently her and her husband had driven 16 hours from Central Florida on a whim without the foresight to reserve a room in advance and it was somehow the desk clerk’s fault that there wasn’t a single King suite available in the entire county. Her husband was scrolling through hotel websites looking for other lodging and yes, nothing but Queen suites available anywhere. Karen begrudgingly took a Queen room and as the clerk called me up to the desk, I loudly exclaimed: “hello, I have a RESERVATION for a KING ROOM under Wilson!” 😂😂😂😂😂 The Desk Clerk cracked a smile as he checked me in and I could read her body language from the other side of the room: she was green with envy and wanted to strangle both of us.

I remember that one Karen I encountered Twice in my old neighborhood during my middle school years. First time was when I was riding my bike while latch on to my moms car as my mom drives my up to the neighborhood exit. When Karen saw my stunt she yelled, “that was really dangerous & the against the law”. I ignored her, but a month later I encountered her again on my way home while talking to my mom on the phone. she was asking me who I was talking to, I told her “I was talking to my mom”. She didn’t believe me like a smart-@$$ until my mom was behind her. I told her “you can ask her yourself since she’s behind you”. Mom told me to go home and I applied. I don’t know what happened between my mom and Karen, but we never saw her again.

I absolutely love when Karens and Kens are hit with karma. It warms the soul. Especially when you don't have to do anything for the karma to come. Even celebrities have to deal with Karens. One mexican comedian had his chihuahuas with him in a coffee shop and a Karen berated him for having them with him and even asked (mocked) if they were legal. Then the staff confirmed that, not only is it fine to bring dogs into their shop, but, any time someone does, they offer a puppuccino on the house for the dogs.

The actual phrase is: "The Customer is always right in matters of taste," meaning that even if what the customer chose was impractical, unsuitable, or hideous, it was the staff's job to point that out. In the UK it was popularised by Harry John Selfridge, the owner and entrepreneur behind Selfridge's department stores. However, it is also associated with both Macy's, and Marshall's, in the US. It was never intended to be taken so literally, but Karen's and Ken's everywhere took as their was cry... thus proving they are utterly absorbed by Dunning Kruger's effect.

There’s always been Karens for years, but they all came out with a vengeance in the early days of the pandemic. The best Karen that got owned was the one accusing a parking attendant of trespassing in their apartment garage trying to steal her car. And her moronic, adult son didn’t make it any better by picking a fight and attempted assault with the guy. She got cited and he was arrested for assault and battery.

The only time I ever got mad at a worker was at a McDonalds when the employee handed me an empty paper bag. The bag looked full, but as soon as the employee handed it to me it was pretty obvious there was nothing in it. So, I asked them about getting my food, but then the employee that handed me the bag was accusing me of lying about not getting my order to get free food. It took the manager to look through the cams, to see that the employee just handed me an empty bag.

One of the better trends in retail lately has been that the customer is NOT always right. More and more retailers are taking no sh*t from Karens and telling them where to go and what to do when they get there. Karens have got to start realizing that their measly $10 spending spree once a month isn't what keeps retailers in business. Cheers....

One of my favorite comments is the customer is always right because that is definitely not true. I worked for a large pharmacy chain for four years and can tell you for sure that customers are not always right. They can complain as loud as they want. They’re not always gonna get their way, and everybody quit complaining about having to show your ID for cigarettes. The government is not tracking to see if you’re a smoker quit being paranoid and well that probably gave away the name of the store that I worked at because the other one doesn’t sell cigarettes but anyway, it’s the law if you don’t like it vote for somebody else, but please quit making the employees lives miserable

My favorites are the ones that are still in their early 20s and get insulted when I card them for alcohol... "Why are you carding me? I turned 23 two days ago!!!" Okay but you look like you're 12, sooooo... I'm 41 and got carded last week. Trust me, there will come a day that they miss when people asked for their IDs.

I haven't run into a karen But i have seen one I was at a restaurant and a worker on the counter yelled out someone's name and order A karen took the order and ate it When confronted she said "Even though it wasn't i liked the food inside The guy whose order she ate ordered again and proceeded to exit She threw the leftover at him and yelled at him "You think you are better than me?" The guy exited anyway The employees told her to leave the restaurant and after some more rude arguments from her side she left

I think its funny how everyones attitude is 'accept everyone...except when i dont agree with them'. I feel the 1st lady's pain. There are many places around my house that can never seem to get an order correct. It is infuriating beyond belief. No reason to yell though, just stop giving them your money. Anyway, be safe people. The last one: they're your ex for a reason. All she got was probation and community service when she assaulted that poor woman? Her career being over it is great karma, but she should have definitely gone to jail for pepper spraying her.

Funny enough, me and my family went to skyzone, and not 15 minutes later my daughter comes to me with an annoyed look, I asked her what was wrong she told me " some lady came over to me with a disgusted look because of my shirt." My daughter was wearing a south park shirt with cartmen on it. noththing inapropriate. so I went to the lady, she tried flirting with me. I told her I was married and she started yelling at me. she got kicked out.
