With Vince back and having final say I doubt we see LA Knight get any kind of push. Don't forget Vince didn't want him to wrestle he was supposed to be a manager and the fact he has gotten himself over, I fully expect to see him counting the lights weekly.

Would it have? What are the teas consequences if Cody losing from a business perspective? He’s nice over than ever, WWE is regularly selling out arenas, and they haven’t lose any viewers. What would have realistically improved form a business perspective?

For me, its more about matches. Who can Roman realistically go against at this point? He's beaten pretty much everyone, whereas Cody ad champion opens up pretty much every match. Seth, Brock, Gunther, either/or of the Usos, etc. Eventually I think the TV audience will go back to what it was pre Hunter, especially with pretty much every Bloodline match following the same script. Just my thoughts though, since as you say, the business metrics seem to tell the opposite story.

I said this so many times before, the reason for the Hurt Business break up was because they were too over. WWE was scared that Hurt Business would overshadow The Bloodline, the same thing that they did with Team Angle, the were too over and they couldn't overshadow Evolution.

It would be perfect to bring them back rn and have them feud against the Bloodline, if the plan is for Cody to take the belts a filler feud that could be amazing would be the Hurt Business vs the Bloodline and give the Bloodline even more heel heat if they win, making Cody’s eventual win even greater.

@ray parker If they were to bring back Hurt Business I don't think it would be a good idea to have them to lose to to The Bloodline. I know recently Bobby expressed wanting to do that fued. but I don't think it would be a good idea in fact I thing each faction should dominate their respective brands.

The matches would likely be really exciting as well. They match up so well. Solo vs Omos, Cedric/Shelton vs The Usos, Roman vs Bobby, MVP vs Heyman on the mic.

I always have felt, that they should have pulled the trigger on an IC Title win at Mania 14 vs. Rock, instead of a 2nd straight dusty finish. Never liked that ending. He deserved his moment there after the buildup from the Rumble forward.

They still dropped the ball. Have him win or have him lose, but don't have him celebrate a count out victory that doesn't give him the title. There was no reason for that.

The Invasion also suffered because people like Undertaker and the APA refused to put any of the Invasion guys over. For example, Taker refused to do a proper match with WCW. Maybe Vince should have disciplined some of his talent more, and BS like the bullying and Wrestler's Court wouldn't happen. Vince should have reminded Taker and APA who pays them, and if they don't like it, where are they going to go? They should know their place.

One of the the things I hate with what they did with Shayna is that they changed her music. I've heard they changed it because "It was generic." even if it was it was still good music. When she came out at 30 at a Royal Rumble with her old theme I thought "Oh well, everyone's f*****d" now it feels she's just another female wrestler in the shuffle.

Another reason for Lex Luger not winning the belt at Wrestlemania X was because the steroid trial was happening, and Vince got nervous of having a guy built like Lex Luger winning the belt, and Bret, who didn't look like he was on steroids, looked a safer bet, and would make it look less obvious that the belt is put on "big" guys.

I disagree with Sami’s placement because you just knew he wasn’t gonna win. Throughout the match you started to be like “holy shit is he gonna?” But when he lost it was an expected heartbreak. Which is what they for some reason tried to do twice in a row and had Cody lose which was just such a mistake.
