Players having unique 5 star heroes already knows this. Focus on heroes for 4 stars and season 1 5 star heroes since most of the new players own these.

I don't have a single hero you mentioned in this video. Except for the small sidenote on Zulag. 😂

Should do like a budget defense for people who don't have all 5* maxed. So like do defense with one 5* mixed with other characters.

Maybe something more generic such as where do you put healer, someone with reflect, someone with revive or where do you put fast vs. average vs. slow. Unfortunately I am unable to relate to the 5* tips.

yeah I'm still waiting for a good 5* yellow so I'm running reverse double with BK, Bera, Tell and then Vela and Mist in the back..even as a 4* Mist's special can be very effective and combined with Tell can really slow offenses down by reducing mana speed..I hover a bit below 2,700cups with this setup..really hoping to land a good yellow eventually..appreciate what u do Anchor..it's helped alot

For someone who is just getting started and haven’t upgraded my stronghold to level 25...Does anyone know of any good videos for someone just starting out with little understanding of the game and needs to know the basics of setting things up as a beginner for best strategies, without having to buy my way into the game? How to set up the hero slots for best strategies for offense and defense...etc.

Hey Anchor, you've made a sweet video here and I've already been having success with your philosophy of "Flow". Is there any way you can do 'Timestamps' or something like that for videos that are this long, and cover so much detailed strategies. I think it'd be great to be able to go to a specific section of the video with one click on the timestamp of say the "Offensive Defensive" or "Tempo Stategy". Just a suggestion! Just a point to medigate what you said, I'm on a small familiy alliance so I don't need strong defense, for me a 4300 TP with only 7 lvl emblems of defense is far more than I need to hold my way in diamond. I often swap to some 4* in my defense just to be able to revenge a bit as I really don't get attacked often. So yeah you don't need a top notch defense to hold the diamond !

I would set double formation 1aron,2 Krampus 3 brynhild,4 neite 5 garnet ore grazul ore vanda.This way is Krampus good protected by status block cleanse and his taunt not to dispell,3 is for extra support and survivel neite for a bit damage more for her effect and also she can not be Mana blocked and Aron for the cleance off Krampus and brynhild to secure the health gaining from my team.

It's difficult to follow when you is specific heros when I don't have any of them. It would be helpful if you are more general in types. Just saying.

Would love to know which team should be my defense here's my heroes list that have 20 emblems heimdall, freya, costume alzar , costum isarnia, onyx , phillius Fogg, lady locke, guinevere , Clarissa and vela , which 5 and which lineup ? Much appreciated for feedback

You still only mentioned like 7-10 characters. I know you can't go thru them all but how about suggesting lesser used cards or hero's that can be successful. If strategies for all levels or at least catering to a couple. Just focusing on the hard to get 5 star players seems like this should be a "The Perfect Defense for 5 Star players/heroes!"

I would set it up this way Lidderock,frigg Elizabeth ursena vela. This way go Lidderock first cleanse and heals and frigg and ursena would go off in the same time ore Les time to react on this combo. also this way is frigg becus she is so dangerous and a thief she can really fuck up the playstyle and the reliability off using from specials as attacker becus she is flank she would take most time the biggest shot of the specials but if she dodge the attacker only has the +-50% hit from the 3hits.

THIS IS all well and good, BUT THERE IS A HUGE EXCEPTION!!!! I have been playing for a solid TWO YEARS STRAIGHT NOW, nearly every day, and I don't have half of these Heroes you are talking about!! IN FACT, I struggle constantly to get ANY five star heroes at all, and the tiny handful that I have, half of them I need poison darts to ascend them, which I can't seem to get during game play ever either!! AND AGAIN I am going into my third year of game play as of November 1st 2023 now!! Many of my heroes ARE limit broke FOUR STAR heroes, and then they have reached their limits on the Talent Grid as well, which you can only make they "so strong" before they are not as effective as five star heroes!!!

Hi Anchor! Was wondering how will the new raid formations affect the hero grades. Great video btw and very relevant now.

How would you use Borin? He is a 4 star reflect damage type. Note, he is my only Epic and I only have a half dozen 3 star units. I participate in Wars, Raids and Titan Battles. My stronghold is currently level 8 being upgraded to 9 currently.

My def is the Reverse formation in this order: Dr Moreau, Frigg, Gravemaker, Magni, Garjammal. I chose to use the second green because I think Garjammal has some survivability with her heal and because my only 5* yellow heroes are Justice and Leonidas. I dont have a 5* healer. Any ideas on how to change the defense for the better?

On a reverse defense would Krampus be effective on the one slot with Alfrike on the 5 slot?

I have only Season one 5 stars such as Isarnia, Obakan, Elena, Vivica, with HOTM such as Bei young and Rueben. I am struggling putting a defense team together especially since I am in Diamond. I wake up down 200 trophies from when I went to bed. Help me with a better defense please.

you made a mistake lidderock do not has to go off last but before your specials becus she cleaned before she heals and cleane your hero's first that makes it so that you put pressure on the attacker with his specials and some times let them wait a turn but this turn waiting can be the attackers dead.

Even the best defense won't help you when the game DECIDES it wants you to lose. This really happens and it happens frequently. I've been playing RPGs forever and Empires for 5 years. It's rigged. Hardcore.

I don’t understand how this could be for beginner players lol. No new player is going to have Stronghold level 25 to even access the Hero Academy. I’ve played for 5 months and I’m at Stronghold Level 18, for comparison. Also, what % of players have these characters!? Especially newer players, or those who aren’t dropping cringe-worthy amounts of money into it.
