I was the NPC and the irrelevant questions/always have the answer student. To be fair, the questions weren't actually irrelevant, but they did slow down class sometimes because I'd make the professors think more deeply about the concept we were talking about. I've heard from people later on that they hated me in the beginning, but after they took a minute to communicate with me, they appreciated the questions I asked. So, I take that as a win.

I am currently in college and there are none of these type of people as far as I'm aware. Instead of staying in the dorms I rented my own apartment where I have two mental breakdowns a day because the dorms are straight up ass.

I had a pretty wild time at college, but not because my time was spent non-stop partying. Rather, it was because my living situation ranged from "luxury" to "my room mate is trying to kill me". XD First year i got there, the guy i was assigned to share the dorm with dropped from college before the year even started. I got a two person room all to myself, so I used the spare bed as a couch for reading. It was pretty good. My second year, I was roommates with a quiet dude who i swear lived and breathed chinese takeout. Always had a mountain of empty boxes next to his bed and a minifridge STUFFED with noodles. He always threw the old boxes away before they went green, but always replaced them with new ones that he just ordered from the takeout place in town. The third year, my roommate was an "aspiring" artist who thought he was the next Bob Ross. I get we all have to start somewhere but this guy never took criticism well AT ALL, even when he specifically asked for it. Raged like an animal if you gave him anything less than PERFECT feedback. I didn't talk to him much. My last roommate tried to straight up kill me. The dude was keeping alcohol on campus, chopping up pills to sell in baggies to people on campus, (which he once stole my medicine to make, the jerk), and used a knife to half-slice through my laptop charging cable so when i plugged it in to charge it exploded in a burst of sparks that nearly set my bed on fire. He also slashed several items I owned as a "warning". Took him to court after making a police report. He never showed up, so I won by default along with a friend he did all this to as well. He dropped from college, but not before he turned all the furniture in our dorm upsidedown as one last dig at me. The actual college experience was pretty tame in comparison. Did the work, met some friends, and graduated. I just had no idea I would be roommates with almost literal cartoon characters at times. It was wild. XD
