Today I do a minifigure comparison between the newest arm printed Boba Fett Minifigure from the Boba Fett Mech and the ultra rare UCS Slave 1 Boba Fett. What's the difference, and why is one so much more expensive than the other? Both figures are phenomenal. The takeaway is that LEGO has done us a huge favor by releasing such a detailed Boba in an inexpensive set. My channel is devoted to arts and entertainment through the art of entertainment. I got the best of both worlds. I have the detailed pauldron from a cheap 2016 set and the new figure from the mech.

Ngl even though the specific scars are post-Sarlacc, I do like the new face: it has more character to it and makes Boba seem like a seasoned warrior. The old one was just yet another clone face.

I definitely agree. It’s a Tem Morrison face which is a thousand times better than the angry clone variant

Great video! I could definitely see a shortened version of this performing great as a short as well, so something to consider. Enjoyed your insights especially considering the red gauntlets which I never even knew about

The curve green print on the helmet has a bigger arch on the $200 one. Color is different,

Thank you for mentioning the gauntlets especially now that is rumored to have the esb boba (mech one) in the new skiff speeder which would be a shame but since we get the wrong Vader in the hallway set I won’t be surprised

I hope Lego don't put the ESB Boba in the new skiff set, but sadly it wouldn't be the first time that they've done that. Lego also put an ESB Boba (although with a ROTJ cape) in the 2012 skiff set. In fact, we've only ever gotten one proper ROTJ Boba figure ever in the history of Lego, and that came in the 2017 skiff set.

There was a different version of the 2017 boba fett available in the betrayal at cloud city set. Only difference being the head print. And the tube print on the 2023 version is incorrect as it should have tucked underneath the sleeve rather than the shoulder armor.

I managed to get the pauldron for an amazing price and I put it on the new Boba figure. It looks awesome.

I think why the did not ad the cloth is because it would get in the way of playing with the mech

Not exactly, true clones don't have cloth pieces anymore but obi wan has a poncho in one of the Kenobi show sets @@CatalystBricks

@@CatalystBricks That's true only for kamas. Clones and stormtroopers still have pauldrons, i.e. the mortar stormtrooper, UCS Rex, and Fives all have cloth pauldrons.

@@CloneCommanderCrater1102 Yeah kamas are gone for sure, they seem to pick and choose who they want to give cloth too. There are figures with printed pauldrons and figures that don’t come with anything like Boba. I wish they would give us a new pauldron piece because the existing one is massive lol
