You should probably start with the set specific modifications, because if each sets with clones starts with weapons/accessories and tents, it might get old fast for a lot of people

Tip 6 and tip 8 are good mods! I completely removed the launcher on the cannons and extended the barrels using parts from an X-wing. Thanks for sharing.

To fix the gap, you can remove one of the pieces the canopy piece rests on.

an iea for the thick visor you could get some plasticard for cheap cut it to size glue it with plastic modeling glue to the frame and paint it for a much nicer and cleaner look thats more permanent

I made mine look almost the same as the 2008 version, but I'm unsure how to show how to do it and I only got one so ripping it apart would be a pain

The airborne trooper is actually Commander Nitroz, so even more of a reason to put on a waistcape :D

the commander has never been named in an official source either by lucas film or Hasbro, who created the 187th.

All you have to do to remove the gap is remove one of the pieces it sits on and move the other one to the middle then it can sit right in the notch on the piece
