Well, in my experience steriotypes tend to take a very long time to update. A baret used to be the go-to headwear among the working class in France last century. But perhaps it is time to change the steriotypes in people's heads.. For some reason people also assume I own wooden shoes as soon as they hear where I am from

Its not Korean aesthetic, she just has good taste. There's no Korean or American aesthetic and k-dramas have stylists that are not always Korean, so please don't be ignorant like that :)

Yeosang's Chicken what are you talking about lol korea and america have very different styling in terms of what is popular/common. ashleys clothes are very similar to what you would see a lot of girls and women wear and be styled in korea as well as being seen commonly in stores, whereas in america its not typically whats promoted as the fashion ideal in popular culture

It is not ignorant of this person to say it’s a Korean aesthetic.If anything, your comment was ignorant and way out of line. You jumped to conclusions and were rude without Any validation. Korean styles have been popularized in America and intermixed into the the American young adult style. So no, it is not a Korean “aesthetic,” it is straight up Korean fashion with American additions. Teens in Korea quite commonly wear these type of fashions, even as she whipped out those white platform shoes with the silver button decorations I immediately though “those are such a Korean thing,” seeing as my Halmeoni has shoes exactly like that in her closet. This person is well justified in claiming her style is Korean based or Korean inspired as, although she may not have intended to go after a straight up Korean inspired look, the popularity and influence of Korean trends in America has become so popular, especially with the rise of K-pop, that her style reflects that. So no, this person is not ignorant. Just because you love K-pop and feel justified to bash people who claim that things are Korean based or taken straight from korea, only because you’ve studied and learned and are in love with Korean culture. This is only because you are obsessed with a couple singers on stage from a foreign country. Things from Korea have just popularized in America, deal with it. It’s like when American bands popularize in other countries and they say “oh that’s a total American thing to do,” you don’t get all offended and call them ignorant do you?

I think it just really depends on how you wear it and your confidence in wearing it. After watching your videos I had a try of some of your tips, I usually wear like a t shirt and leggings EVERY SINGLE DAY. You are so interesting to watch and that's why I pretty much remembered every thing you said, and something happend were everything just clicked and I kept making the most interesting ideas and my mum was in love with them! I had never felt so confident in my life! You have inspired me to get out of my comfort zone and try new things, I only started watching your videos yesterday and im already addicted! @@YodiRoberts no I'm aware of that, but my proportions don't allow me to wear bigger sizes than my actual size, as then, it doesn't fit right everywhere else. I've learned to deal with it, and not all of my dresses go up. I dunno if this was addressed to me, if it was then there's my answer 😂

To nail the beret style you shouldn't fold inside the bottom part, but at the contrary leave it flat so the line from your head to the edge of the hat is straight (almost curved inward) instead of rolled outward. I don't know if my explanation is clear haha. Lots of kisses from a French girl :D

@@iliketositandeat4718 exactly by doing how Olive said. If you take out the line that is inside your béret then it will stay on your head (up your forehead) but leave the line inside for the back of your head et tada you will look like a Française hehe
