Why anyone would buy anything else when he could get a CAT is beyond me. Oh, they say, CATS are too expensive. You can pay more no or pay more later, when you “bargain” breaks down. I cut my teeth long ago on a CAT 977H Traxcavator. That baby always started,, except for one time when kids vandalized it. But our dealer - Foley Equipment - was there within the hour. We just had to clear the dirt from the engine and replace a cable or two, no big deal, Thank God.
