I don't think it's necessarily a bad thing that Seth got the US title, it was a storyline that made sense at the time (minus Jon Stewart's interference). I miss the days of multi championships on guys. Like for example when Two Dudes with Attitude held all 3 titles. Also HBK as European and World Champion was pretty cool. Another thing that can't be forgotten was the great Eurocontinental Champ Kurt Angle. Definitely have no problem with guys carrying two belts (especially Tag and a singles title). It'd be really cool to have a real shocker and have a guy capture both mid card titles somehow.

I always thought Ambrose's run when he was in the Shield was pretty pointless.

Benoit's squashing of Orlando Jordan at Summerslam 2005 was hilarious. As were the even shorter rematches on Smackdown in the weeks that followed. It also birthed one of my favourite F4W moments, the "Orlando Jordan's Time Machine" episode of "The Bryan and Vinny Show"

It's Really Unfortunate Because The WWE's Current United States Title Is The Best Looking Title Currently When Compared To The Other Current WWE Championship Titles ... The WWE's European Title Deserves Honorable Mention As Well.

Gotta say I have hated the US belt for YEARS. People argue that it's more prestigious than the IC belt and has been around longer, I tell them it's still bad. I really want WWE to replace the belt or at least give it a rebirth like Cody Rhodes did the IC belt (Shiny white).

I loved Big Show with the U.S title, he had the wonderful performance in the rumble as U.S. Champion, I remember seeing him on smackdown and seeing him as a true monster that was actually doing something. Although he was seen as the right guy to drop it to Cena honestly.

Mahnn Ryder becoming US champ got a huge pop and it felt like he truly cared about being champ because it was his first singles title. Then you have ambrose who literally had the title as a prop because he was in more serious shield feuds at the time

I Don't like being negative but I'm not digging Bobby Roodes US title rein so far. granted I'm still adjusting to Face Bobby compared to Heel Bobby that was in NXT. I'm really torn I'd love Rusev to win next week but if he does Bobbies reign was pretty shite.

I can't argue any of the names on this list besides Eddie Guerrero. He is still one of the greatest WWE US champions with his one run. He had an excellent double champion storyline while tag champs with Chavo and it culminated with losing it to Big Show in a solid match. We also got a solid and important feud with John Cena. I think with WWE's practice of revising history, people only ever see him win the WWE title against Brock and forget how important this run was to get there.
