Regarding Piper taping his fists to avoid doing any real damage to Mr. T, anyone who has watched a boxing match has noticed that after the fight the fighters remove their gloves and their fists are taped. Seems like standard operating procedure in boxing, and is said to be done to protect the fighters hands.

The Hogan-Andre thing from WM3, I think was Vince and Andre ribbing Hogan. Taping your fist completely shut actually makes them harder, so, if they made Roddy do that, they would have only helped him out long run 'Taker himself in an out of character interview "confirmed" he taped his fists and planned to piece up HBK of anything looked out of sorts in the WM14 main event.

The old WWF film photography stills are fantastic. They look so much better than today's digital shots where getting the images online ASAP means not bothering to do noise reduction. Mount some flashes in the rafters like they used to instead of just cranking the ISO. I say all this as a modern day digital photographer who has never shot film and is merely judging the shots objectively.

There were 3 TV Ultimate Warriors. Look closely and it becomes obvious. 1. The original Warrior disappeared after Summer Slam 1991. 2. The Wrestlemania 8 Warrior was there Spring 1992-July 1992. 3. August 1992-2014 was the last. Forget Renegade. Forget famous guys that you think played Warrior. Before calling me names, look closely for these differences. Compare height, the nose changing shape twice, the more robotic movements after 1992 etc. Compare Warrior’s height to Macho Man in 1991 at Wrestlemania 7, the interview in July 1992, and Summer Slam 1992. You will see THREE different guys. There are other differences, but height is the most obvious. Email me if you want further differences. I lived this era. I still have the tapes. It’s obvious.

As a wrestling fan from Louisville, KY, I still think the most amazing thing would be Wrestlemania from Churchill Downs. Just in the stands alone it seats 165,000 people, and adding in ground seats they could easily inflate the number to near 200,000. making it the largest wresting event in history, and the 3rd or 4th largest recorded sporting event ever.

The myths #10 and #4 are half-true... At WM3, there was so much going on! The finish was set and agreed by all parties, but Andre never confirmed it to Hogan and he was playing/ribbing with him whether or not he was going to do the honors but ultimately knew he was going to do it. It was a way for Andre to be assured that Hogan was the right guy and he would not oversee/oversell things! On the other hand, it was also a question of pride. The Giant was coming back from a back surgery, he was walking with the help of a cane, but he never wanted Hogan and other people to know or see that either. He wanted to look strong for [maybe] the last big match of his career! The "slam me Boss" was indeed the first time that Hogan knew for sure that he was going over! At WM14, The Undertaker wasn't at the Gorilla position taping his fists waiting for Shawn to do the right thing, but he was watching the match very closely and if it hadn't been done the way it was done, it would've been probably a very long night for Shawn Michael!!

WM 6 at SkyDome in Toronto had an attendance of 67,678. WM X8 had 68,237. These figures are confirmed by the now Rogers Centre. Biggest attendance for the venue was the Billy Graham Mission Ontario Youth Rally, this meeting, on June 10, 1995, is conceivably the most attended event in the SkyDome's history. The attendance of 72,500 was boosted by performances by several Christian music groups, and by extensive seating on the field.

"Attendance" is not a measure of tickets bought. It is actually the total number of people in the building. That is why a venue can have more people "in attendance" than its stated capacity. In most counties in the US (or cities if they govern fire inspection there) they will determine the "attendees" and the WWF/E typically uses this number because it is always much bigger than the actual number of fans watching the show.

Actually leading up to the point before Nash signed with WCW he was slated to end the streak sorta. Vince really wanted him to be the one who ended it. But Nash refused to do it. Once he signed with WCW Vince changed his mind.. So to an extent that myth is true and false at the same time

The Sid shitting himself at WrestleMania 13 one was mostly confirmed with an Undertaker interview on the TSN show Off the Record. While Deadman does not do interviews out of character, The American Badass did.

#10 A long time ago Vince said that Hogan was concerned that Andre might decide to not put him over. Vince said he himself knew for a fact that Andre would do the honors. So, while Hogan has told many tall tales, the idea that he was worried that Andre wouldn’t put him over seems pretty legit.

I heard in an interview that Vince and hogan were concerned because if hogan screwed up in the match, Andre might decide to not lose. Vince said no one can make Andre do something he doesn't want to do.

I'm not sure if you were implying Undertaker wasn't backstage waiting for Michaels to lose at WM XIV, but he WAS. Jim Cornette confirmed that he had taped up his hands and was waiting in Gorilla position (behind the stage) for HBK to lose just in-case he tried to pull another Montreal scenario (which was only a few months old at the time)

Wwe might not have full on invested in the undertaker streak until wrestlemania 21, but even by Wrestlemania X-8 (yea thats what it was called cus X made everything cooler back then haha) , they were already mentioning it on commentary, and Taker himself even opened and held up hands after defeating Ric Flair to signify his 10th win at Mania

My guess is the undertaker story with HBK is just exaggerated over time. It wouldn't surprise me that undertaker mentioned to someone backstage along the lines of HBK "will be doing the right thing", but it probably snowballed from there. Just like it was probably exaggerated about HBK wouldn't do the right thing. He was probably always going to drop the belt in the ring as told, but he was probably still causing issues with people back stage which got people thinking he wasn't going to drop the title and it snowballed from there. Threats versus intentions.
