Good one. Forgot about that one. Not a move, but I remember back in WCW SN in 94, they accidentally spoiled the ending of the upcoming Ric Flair/Sting Title Unification match at Clash of the Champions. They tried to play it off like Ric Flair tampered with the footage.

What would be the criteria for the list, botched finish, changed storyline, or someone's opinion?

@@jeremygott7709it would be more of a personal opinion list, but there could be some logic added in to explain each selection like any other top 10. For example HHH vs Booker T Wrestlemania 19 is an obvious example where the general public hates the finish and thinks Booker should've won the title. I myself am interested in what the list would be, but I know we've all had that feeling where we wanted some guy to win or lose the title and got dissapointed when they didn't. I guess I wouldn't include botched matches, so say if a wrestler got hurt and they had to call an audible and have him lose instead of win, like Sting and Seth Rollins at night of champions, I don't think that should count, I'm strictly talking about decision based title changes where it was a bad idea or this guy didn't want to put the other guy over, ect.

The britt baker story is something I really like that AEW does that WWE doesn’t do. She got injured and they still have her a chance during and after it. Very rare to see a legitimately injured performer on wwe tv.

Mick foley getting choke slammed through the hell in a cell was planned. If you go back and watch it or even go to the 5:44min mark of this video, you can clearly see the black plastic zip ties laying next to foley that were used to break away when he got choke slammed on it. No one would use plastic zip ties to hold a fence in place unless it was gimmicked to break away.

I have never believed Foley going through the cell was accidental. Why else go back up there again? Why frame up in so particular a fashion for THAT panel? Why else did Undertaker break out the supersafe choke-push he only ever used again with with Rikishi at armageddon hiac?

That panel was gimmicked. You can see in the footage they use here all of the broken zip ties that were designed to give way. Because of how unstable the footing was, Taker couldn't get any elevation on the slam. Mick addresses this in his book. The real botch is 1) Mick getting bashed by the panel and 2) the chair slamming into him after he landed.

I have one that may still happen. The Ring Explosion Botch. I say that someone should be pitted in a Kenny Omega feud. I say that AEW should find an opponent for The Cleaner. How? Here's how. Show footage from the explosion "botch", backdate footage as being from that night as someone watches the monitor "on that night " in a black mask. As they walk away, they throw wire cutters in the air, presumably causing the botch. I'd make it a "good guy", someone who goes after Omega. My top 3 candidates: Adam Page, Christian Cage and Sting.

It's not like Kofi is built like a champion or anything, I can't stand when little dudes like Kofi, Rey Mysterio, & Jeff Hardy get pushed for world titles, it's so wack and none of them look like or wrestle like world champs, they should each get squashed at least 6 times a year by true main eventers.
