I have a personal Haku story that I'm sure most people have never heard of: In the late 2000's, there was a wrestling reunion event in New Jersey, and I was recording behind the scenes content. I was backstage with wrestlers like Gail Kim, Kurt Angle, and of course....Haku. In the backstage area, I had a gym bag with some equipment, clothes, and my beloved Sony PSP. Unbeknownst to me, my gym bag was placed right next to Haku's gym bag. Now as I was talking to some wrestlers backstage, Haku decided to leave, and TOOK MY BAG! When I looked for it, I started to panic....especially because I had HIS BAG. Oh shoot...... Luckily the promoter of the event had Haku's number, and called him while he was on his way to the airport. I was sweating cause he had a lot of my stuff which mattered....but.....I'm MAKING HAKU COME BACK FROM THE AIRPORT.....lol. My life was over! BUT.....he actually came back and was very nice! We switched bags, and he was gone! Whew!!!

What’s the difference between Haku and a literal monster? One tries to scare you, and the other scares the monster.

I actually know him personally. We worked for the same car sales company i Orlando (albeit at different dealerships). Haku is the absolute nicest, most pleasant person you would ever want to meet. Literally everyone at all three dealerships loved him. But everyone was warned to NOT say wrestling was "fake".Haku has the biggest hands I have ever ween, and his fingers are all crooked like bent wires! But when you meet him, even at his age, you automatically know that you do not want to be the one to say or do anything to make his smile go away.

Haku will NEVER get sick with cancer; he'd just death glare the cancer cells!

Those Pacific Islanders are no joke. I competed as a semi professional kick boxer for twelve years in my youth. We had a Tongan guy who trained at the gym with us. I was competing at 6'3" 175-185 lbs. He was 5'8" 245lbs. I only ever sparred him and had won several times on points, but he was so strong. He stopped coming to the gym for a while and then showed up randomly one day with a fresh scar on his head. When we caught up he told me that someone had broken into his house while his family was there. He injured the guy so badly that he was having to deal with legal consequences. I'll spare the details, but there were several broken limbs involved. They are a physically strong people with a culture that accepts violence as a part of life.
