I watched the program on the slave trade, and as a seventy five yr old white man, I can assure you that racism is taught and observed in a home and a community. I was witness to schools being taught with whites in one school and blacks in another. Kentucky was slower than most neutral states to finally see the old die out and take the n word to their Graves. Alot of people don't understand metal, the amount of vocal strength and lung capacity it takes to project words at a high pitch is very difficult and it actually acts as a muscle in the throat and works it out making it stronger so as she ages her vocals will ring louder and more vibrant ... Metal has been compared to opera singers with high pitch vocals in theater because it takes very strong vocal chords to project like that. Alot of people don't know but metal and screaming was inspired by Opera singers.

So I understand this is not everyone’s type of music. I have dabbled in this a little. And the thing to remember about what is known as Black Metal or Death Metal as it used to be called is the amount of vocal cord strength it takes to do this. I bet any amount of money she could kill an actual ballad. If you want to know where this could go look up a band called Arch Enemy the lead singer is a female. And as far as the ballad side listen to Slipknot song called Left Behind and then listen to Corey Taylor (the lead singer of Slipknot) do an acoustic version of a song called Snuff. DO not mock this kind of singing - it is very very difficult to sing like this. The amount of voice and breath control to do this is almost the same as it takes to sing opera. Too many people scorn metal because the do not understand it.
