The contents of a hoarder's house and a house cluttered with items are actually quite different. In this case, the client's room was piled with hobby-related items rather than scattered garbage.
The clutter in the room began when the Great Hanshin Earthquake caused bookshelves and other items to collapse, leading to the scattering of belongings. Due to such circumstances, and combined with not being able to match garbage disposal times due to work, the room became cluttered.
We cleaned the hallway and the two Western-style rooms, including the one with the most belongings. The weight of the books alone was 1.5 tons.
In the living room, there were old DVDs, videos, books, and computer peripherals piled up, so we organized everything with a team of six workers.
Finally, the client shared their thoughts and feelings after the cleanup.
