That Canuck hat is worthy of a like from me. I have not ever played table top Warhammer, I got into the lore of warhammer due to total war warhammer. But the way you guys play and explain how you are playing, and the energy you bring to the game makes it really fun to watch. Keep it up

Quick note, as a chaos dwarf player, spirit hosts have usually been my bane. The giant fiery monster that never received an official model, but the WIP that looks awfully similar to the khorne thing that came out shortly after AOS, has a page full of rules that relates to daemons, but specifically does not have magic attacks. Fighting vampires helped inspire my chaos dwarf prophet surfing around on an Arabyan carpet smiting undead with his free magic weapon

Even though I've only played 40k I feel like I have a passion for fantasy because of your bat reps and book reviews I'm beyond excited for new fantasy old world to get into the game

I don't why there are some people that are talking smack. This game is just for fun and they play for fun. These guys are also one of the few that provide content for such a good game. Steve, Luke, Cullen, and everyone else you guys are AWESOME in every way. Please ignore those idiots who don't appreciate what you do. VC is my personal favorite army as well and play them a lot in TTS and also play them horribly and have tons of fun! Keep doing what your doing!

And We're finally at my army. Unfortunately Master of the Dead only affects skeleton warriors. Grave Guard aren't affected but they comeback just as easy as skeletons (d6+ Wizard Lv). An Important thing about Black knights is that they are not infantry but are not vampiric or ethereal except for movement (they can charge through terrain) either, so they resurrect 1+wizard lv per cast of IoN. A Lv 4 necro brings back 105 pts of heavy cav every cast from 1 unit. Blood Knights are probably the best non-monstrous cav in the game and can win almost any fight on the charge it's just that steadfast is too good, when you lose one it hurts and vampiric means only 1 comes back per cast of Invocation. Black coaches are amazing but because they're rare they compete for terrorgheists and mortis engines which are better and blood knights and varghulfs which might be more fun. A cool thing for the Zombie Dragon is that it's breath weapon is affected by hellish vigour in CC. A cooler thing is the GW model can be built to swap out the head for the Terrorgheist's with friction like black knights/hexwraiths. Steve does a pretty good breakdown here and Mr. the dice would have been a welcomed guest.

Love love love VCs. I own a solid 30K point army With perhaps 20k worth of models painted atm. Only thing thats to bad is the Blood Knights and their point cost. Imo All the "Elite Cav" in 8th , should have been 2 wound models. Chaos Knights, Blood Knights, Grail Knights, Dragon Princes etc. As they are more like Hero-like models ! I've rarely not taken a hero level vamp tbh. Extra backup caster if something bad happens to your general, and lore of Shadow is great for debuffing opponent's. Also Cairn Wraiths were basically renamed from just Wraiths in previous editions. Which were always in Hero category. 8th was the first time they were able to be taken as Rare.

You are not a terrible player of vampire counts they're just an advanced person's army. Comps aside 1. At no instance can your special or rare choices find themselves in a joined close combat with your core choices unless they are toughness 4 Ghouls. 2. Black Knights are awesome however you have a history of not being an aggressive cavalry general. You need to take your black knights and go Bedford Forest, Oliver Cromwell, Jean de Dunois, or Sir Richard the lion heart on someone's Buttocks. 3. Take 3 dice and cast wildform every turn on the BK- bus needs a natural 8 to cast on cavalry lv-1 8+1=9😃 Yes wildform will be stopped but now you have dice for necromancy
