I love how the troops will automatically sort themselves into units, and then when the large army splits, they are moving in separate little squares. Instead of all stacking in one place.

Would be cool if there were different AIs, because I personally like how the AI puts units in to squares and carries out more complex movements, but it just doesnt look good with orcs, so there could be a savage AI which is more fluid and less organized ( for the orcs), an organized AI which would be more organized and complex than the normal AI, an normal AI which does what the AI does now, and maybe some in between AIs. Maybe have an AI menu with the teams and which AIs you could select for them, like have a selection menu that would look somewhat like this, "Team One" "Team Two" < Normal > < Savage > and so on. just an idea for any devs who see this

An ability to create a special path for unit platoons would be nice, it'd be an easy way to accomplish that flanking feature you were talking about

Exciting to see these new battle sims coming out with all this new tech for them. We need one of these dedicated to line battles though, so we can recreate civil war and napoleonic wars battles to scale and take part in them.

Yo baron I’ve been watching your channel for I think going on four years now and I appreciate and love everything you’ve done, I have a fairly solid idea that I would like to run by you, it is a game called sins of a solar empire rebellion, now the base game is kinda meh however there is a really fun mod called sins of a galactic empire that goes along with it and it turns the base game into Star Wars, it is a strategy game and you can play it with some of your buds if you want or just solo against the AI (it’s pretty tuff), just lmk and get back to me if you’ve seen this or want any further info or details.

With UEBS2 around the corner, $10-15 sounds pretty legit. Its kinda like UEBS 1.5

So, pros and cons, in realtion to whatbi last saw of UEBS Units seemingly form into "company's" of i think 1 or 2 hundred units. I assume thats mostly for pathfinding conservation, but it feels very military. UEBS had a lot more of a "swarmy" feel which made battles a lot less formal. They seem to be aiming to have a lot more unit diversity in terms of the number of stats that change between units. Makes things far more intresting IMO Currently the gane seems to only let a "few" company's engage in melee at a time. Whilst i have no doubt this massively reduces mid battle lag, it does make the battles a lot smaller scale than the number of units actually on the field. The big units AoE i think is a little bit to high, and the attack speed to low. Would prefer higher attack speed with lower AoE, as it just makes the fights flow a little better. But maybe thats just me. Overall, 10 quid seems reasonable. If it could support all the units on the field fighting at once (on high end PCs) then maybe I'd go for 15. And discounts are discouts, so long as it isn't a 2% discount or something almost entirely pointless like that I'm never going to complain about them. So finished the video, and few final bits. Whilst i still like the sort of "company's" that the units are controlled in, making it a bit more organic is certainly something I'd like to see. Works well enough in melee, but when manoeuvring near to batyle lines it does look kinda off. Will probably be sorted out and look way better once the AI is brought to a state where it cane handle 100K+ units manoeuvring and fighting simultaneously. The orcs didn't seem to want to move past the ents at all. Meant that despite there being large gaps between the ents and the passage sides, no orcs attempted to engage the archers. Thats something which I'd like the AI trying to do. Employ numbers effectively. When a couple of the Orcs went "retreating" i think they actually decided to go engage the first body of orcs, instead of the masive hord of orcs. Which is very weird, as they were so much further away you'd expect proximity to promote the engagements the AI chooses a lot more. Price point hasn't changed, this is alpha footage, so when it releases i expect a lot of the AI thing's to be have been improved to a far more playable state, but currently i don't think i would buy it for any money. Esspecially as UEBS exists, and whilst this is more about having in depth battles and combat, rather than just gigantic battles, i think the limitations of UEBS in those regards are far outweighed by the poor AI in this.

It looks like they automatically go into formations of 100, so i'm wondering if the AI is more responsive if you make lots of groups of 100 as opposed to a large chunk of 10000.

I thing 8.50$ is probably ok, as long as they update it semi-frequently.

I would get the game if you could build like your own fort without the help of the workshop as well as maybe better strategys like patroll routes

Price for current: None, restrict to Alpha Keys ONLY when it enters Alpha, then go through Beta keys. Price for release: Depending on how development goes, for most indie games, the buffer always seems to be between 20 and 40 dollars. So $30 full release. A good buffer.

I prefer the setup to this compared to UEBS, ass in you are placing directly onto a live map to you can see accurately where they are placed, as opposed to having to guess, start a game and look and keep trial and erroring. Not sure if they've stuck to that in UEBS 2.

And when they where waiting they were the other groups try and out number them by a little bit and they lose more then there enemy they call for reinforcements that's why they are waiting as back up

I personally plan on becoming a game dev one day, and I plan to alwase put low prices like 0.99-4.99. I say this because I alwase hated high prices as a youngin and I feel like 10$ is a good price for this game (when it comes out fully) and 15$ is a acceptable price in general, but the second you go 20$ it’s more focused on those old enough to have jobs, and the spoiled kids. And please, if you are making a game, NEVER, NEVER go 50$ because it’s just too much lol
