Today we are in Amritsar Punjab to visit the famous Golden Temple in India. It is one of the holiest and most spiritual places in the Sikh religion. People from all over the country come to Amritsar to volunteer at the golden temple. This Indian temple feeds up to 100,000 people for free everyday in their community kitchen where anyone of any gender, religion or race can come to enjoy a meal. It was so amazing to see how the community kitchen operated and the food was actually super tasty 😋 After this we walked around the beautiful Heritage Walk in Amritsar trying lots of the local Punjabi food.
