I live in this area, moved here from VA almost 4 years ago. I can tell you this: the people are wonderful - kind, compassionate and giving, the land is simply gorgeous - especially the mist rising from the mountains after a rain, and the wildlife is everywhere! We have numerous chipmunks, rabbits, squirrels, turtles, deer, and more that live in our yard and around us. We found our peace again and it's priceless to us!💞

@@AineEithne Florence KY holds the record for most snowfall in a year lol. Pretty much the northern part gets a bit more than we do here in east-central. It isn't as mountainous either. Our snowfalls tend to only last a few days, but we are in a valley and many storms wrap around and bypass us. Contact the local weather department of properties you are interested in and they should be able to give you more detailed info on those locations. Best of luck in your search 💞

Joke of the day: The dairy farmer have a law suit against the hay farmer. The hay farmers started rolling the hay into these very large rolls. the dairy farms clam that the cows cant get a square meal anymore.

My wife and I have been looking at East Kentucky land for a while. It is our retirement plan. We are tired of the extreme cold and snowy winters of the Rocky Mountains. I keep watching Brad. This is a nice piece of ground but I wish it had more building locations. I hate flood planes. My ass don’t swim. Lol I do love the General Store.

Like these videos. My dream even since I was a kid was to have enough land to have a house, a 3 to 5 acre pond , a large stand of untouched hardwood timber, and some large open fields. I know it will never happen but it don't hurt to dream.

Pretty place. If I was wealthy I'd probably buy it,tear down the house,build a new one that would fit our needs. Probably would need to keep the exterior layout somewhat like the one that's their. The old General Store? I'd be debating as to whether or not to use it for storage,a smoke house or if I wanted to deal with the headache of restoring it into some kind of Private Historical site. I would also probably want to continue raising cattle. As for the government Program somebody mentioned, I'm very reluctant to get much more government involvement into my affairs than I have to. Seems to me that theirs to big of a Risk that if you make a deal with the government involving the use of your land that you run the risk of giving up to much control over your land. With the government if you give them an inch they take a mile. And just in case it matters to anybody, I really like the idea of having creeks and ponds.

Brad, your video want me to hit the lotto. Those hills, mountains, creeks and streams. I know that there is gold in those creeks and streams. Plus the rolling hills to build a house with a full basement that's cement poured. With thick walls and a thick cement floor. And the house build with block and a brick and stone front and don't forget about that 3 car garage with a garage door on the other end so you can ride your mower straight thru. Yes, I do play the lotto. I buy a ticket that's runs for 20 weeks. One day I will meet you with alot of cash in my pockets.

If I bought it, they would have to throw in that delightful donkey! Every farm needs a Livestock Guardian Donkey. 🤠 Im really enamored with this property. You might hear from me within the next year if its still available when Im ready to relocate. I did a little research - The name Allenbaugh is of Swiss-German origin (think Switzerland). It is derived from Allenbach and means, "Small Stream".

That crease in the jeans s is from how you fold them, not from an iron. Us older gals know how to do that. Saves wear & tear on the iron. 😁😂🤣

Brad, I love you and your wife, she's so pretty! I'm worried about your weight (out front). Your at the age and I don't want to hear that you had a heart attack! Please, time to get more healthy! Sometimes we have to put the breaks on and limit whatever we're doing! Do as I say and not as I do.😊
