If I'm not wrong, the body of the shield is in three pieces is the reason for all of the round “rivets” on the back of the shield. Those are metal “screws” that attach the star and the silver stripe to the rest of the shield.

The metal parts on the inside are weights to make it feel more authentic.

I'm disappointed in Thor's Hammer and Cap's Shield. cheap plastic, horrible paint job, not movie design. they aren't worth $100 they are about $25 quality
