Just wanted to note for everyone, apparently I'm getting word that as of the patch a day or so ago the drop rate of the augment specific craft has basically plummeted to 0. It seems like it is a bug related to the changes they made so if you aren't seeing the crafting options as often as you would like it quite possibly may be bugged and not dropping as often as it should. Hopefully I'll have more info soon!

So what's the process for using an essence of horror in crafting? I've seen those but I'm buggered if I could craft with them... :( Great vid btw. :)

I'm a tad bit confused. Lets say I have a crusader vaal regalia, I used an essence of horror on it so it, then I just need to keep using the physical augment craft on it because theres only 3 physical mods for int body armors. Is that right?

You know what I think many people find difficult about crafting? It's not so much using currency, essences, fossils and now harvest to make and add modifications. I think most people don't know what exactly to craft onto their gear, what gear to use and then how to craft systemically by adding desired mods and removing undesirable mods (in other words min/maxing). That's what I think the main issues are. I'm still fairly new to the game right, but I do have a methodology that I believe is necessary for crafting gear. I may be wrong or I may have missed something, but generally, this is how I would go about deciding and crafting my gear: 1. Always craft life on the gear. 2. Make sure to craft resistances wherever it's needed so that it can be maxed out. 3. Add anything onto the gear that will enhance the active and/or supportive skills, whatever they may be. Like for cold-based skills: cold penetration, reduction in enemy cold resistance, #% increase cold damaga, etc. 4. Add additional mods on the gear that will free up keynodes or nodes on the passive tree. 5. Anything else that is specifically desired. This is basically how I would approach it. The only thing I mostly struggle with is choosing the correct base, but I think that is centred on the character and the approach taken. For example, dex character = mainly dexterity based items. Dex and str character = mainly dexterity and strength based items, etc. This doesn't necessarily limit it to those characters. I also mean like picking Shadow, but going for a bow build and hence mostly dexterity. The build would thus center around dex based items and not dex/int items based on the character. Would you say this approach of mine is reasonable?

I am sorry this is totally unrelated to this video but there was something I didn't understand in PoB. At the start of the league you made a video about league starters, one of which was Blade Vortex poison which I am really enjoying so far, but here is the problem. In PoB, the expensive amulet you added has a +1 lvl to all Dexterity Gems which is too expensive for me ,so I tried to create a custom identical amulet on PoB without that mod just to check how much it will affect the damage. But for some reason, the damage doesn't change at all even if the whole mod is removed. Does that mean that PoB is bugged and the damage it shows is even less than how it should be or I am missing something. Thanks for your time reading, and if anyone has any idea why that might be hapenning, would be cool if you could help me. Thanks all and GL.

Are people really whining that there's nothing to kill? There's so much stuff to do as it is. I'm really happy that this is a crafting focused league, as it's something that, while I understand it, I've never had the currency, as I just never end up making it much past starting red tier maps, and have never hit the true endgame, like shaper and such. Last league was the first time I ever even hit guardians. XD

int bases dont have the phys suffix, and its a joke to hit the 2 others you need to block with jagged fossil

Body armour crusader influence level 86 with 3 suffixes and 3 prefixes (2 as physical) only change the tier of "Reflects # Physical Damage to Melee Attackers" from tier 4 to tier 1. Not 100% chance, did i miss something?

Hello i wanted to ask here because i'm deaf and i tried to learn this trick with the subtitle so i'm not sure I have a double influenced warlord/crusader astral plate, and i want to try to craft it but i dont understand why you would use essence of horror. What i understood by reading you : 1 - to spam essence of horror until i get good modifier 2 - if needed, make room for both influence affixe 3 - add the attack + physical craft from seed I'm wrong ? Actually i wanted to try something like : 1 - Spam attack OR physical seed until i get a good plate with only 1 of the wanted mod + good other mod 2 - Use "add physical" (or attack) to get the other one PS : it would be great if i can see a video of you crafting it from A to Z

it's important to note that you cannot craft ANYTHING onto a mod that is in your stash if there are gems socketed in the item. Not just socket/link crafts, but any craft. You also cannot unsocket the gems as its technically a remove only tab. So anything you want to have available to craft in your stash, make sure there are no gems socketed inside the item.

People are either all over this league and think it's great or they quit already and say it's trash very odd

I just wanna note that you can buy 600+ alts with 20c at this time of the league , so rather than crafting harvest for the explode mods you can just brute force it with alt to have a base to craft on rather than have to anul the phys mod.

you neglected to mention that the ilvl has to be high enough to support this mod (ilvl 85). I wasted a ton of fusing a chromatic on a low level crusader chest piece that didn't work out because it was lvl 71.

I actually like the fact that GGG got us out of speed running maps, I mean it's a temp league people and nobody is forcing you to play. Plus this league is actually a tutorial to crafting which from a begginers point of view could be daunting cause normally "meta crafting" entails having hundreds of exalts to accomplish. Good league, definitely not the best, but still good!

Well, that is theory. Pratice says "No". And not speaking of unexplicables cases of not applicable (or even bugged, I once landed "+strength" modifier with a "caster exalted" recipe ...) recipes. Basically "condense lifeforce" league now. Your knowledge is very valuable, but clearly, chance to drop a good craft recipe is just stupid low AND people won't be aware. Even a noob knows an exalted is valuable. With harvest you won't have that chance to know something is valuable, you can't even filter good recipes among the sh*t

I absolutely despise this league. I'm not interested in crafting, if I want an item i'll buy it. I'm seriously thinking to play on standard for the rest of the league as there's nothing interesting for me to do.
