Alot of games made in 2000-2010 had a lot of effort put in them compared to what most modern games are right now. Back then i had tons of games to play but now i can hardly find one that is worth buying

8:15 I didn't even know there were actual Irish gang members in freeroam, and I've played this game since release. Fascinating 10:56 This explains the weird traffic behaviour on that bridge. It's odd they even coded this functionality in since there is no normal circumstance where a driving NPC would end up on the tracks.

For the second one, it's actually just how they usually behave. If you drive towards them, or someone else does, they'll duck out of the way. On bridges, they perceive trains to be vehicles (they are classified as such) barreling towards them, and they duck out of the way to avoid being hit.

Fun fact about the landstalker: The little screen on the headrest inside the car is an extra that appear only on the gang Landstalker. This screen is not available anymore in GTA 5 for current gen but it was still a thing on Xbox 360 and PS3. In order to get it you had to customize the side skirts in LSC and you will see those screens appearing on both the headrests (slightly clipping through the seat but they were still visible)

I used to modify the Landstalker in V to look like the gang one of IV. There are also differing versions of the gang models in IV. But some mods are always on these and maybe these ones are bound to the interior mods which carried over to V since they reused quite a lot from IV. Then the interior mods got lost when they implemented the 1st person view with all the more detailed interiors.

Couple of things i noticed while playing: - You can hear the firetruck dispatch radio when you throw a molotov on the ground and sit in a firetruck - shooting the propane fuel tank on the forklift causes fire to spew out

@@watema3381didn’t RDR2 have even more detail than GTA4 ? I play both those games back and forth a lot and RDR2 completely shits on Gta4 in terms of detail . I’m sure rockstar knows that GTA6 will be the most profitable game yet meaning they could make it a literal life simulator that gets in the way of actual fun gameplay and ppl will still dickride the game just cause it’s a rockstar title .

@@watema3381 oh wow you can’t dive in RDR2 , truly the end of the world. Unlike GTA5 and SA , there aren’t any underwater collectibles. Also half the map isn’t water but instead land so why the hell would you need to go underwater for. AND if u do go into water , the water will slowly clog your guns and waste the conditioning on it, requiring gun oil . Cool little detail.

7:12 I seem to remember that whenever you had a wanted level or started firing randomly in certain neighborhoods, some gangs would react more hostile than others. Russian Mafia, Spanish Lords, Triads, and the Jewish Mafia were the ones that reacted the most aggressively to Niko if he was doing shit on their territory.

@@lufetmonestly it’s a really funny bug though. I remember back in the day playing online with a friend, one of the things we’d do is just chase each other around the map and he and I were in helicopters and I was chasing him and when he flew under the Broker bridge, a mini van had driven off and all I saw was a van falling off the bridge and it landed right on top of his helicopter blowing him up. It was one of the funniest things I’ve seen playing GTA IV with friends.

They still care wtf are you talking about, Red Dead Redemption 2 is literally their latest AAA game . Even though GTA V online is getting a lot of shit, but the story mode still has shit tons of details and delivered a whole new experience in the gaming industry when it was released. And im pretty sure GTA 6 will be the craziest game ever made in gaming history, in a good way.

I suppose the driving AI treats trains like emergency vehicles. It's probably based on close proximity that either stretches horizontally and vertically enough to detect them or simply looks for them within a certain horizontal distance with no regards to vertical coordinates.

I never really noticed the cover animationsdepend on the weapon. I also saw once a cover animation where the player rolled sideways into cover once in a video, like when they try to roll under a closing gate

You can equip a weapon whilst drunk without mods you need to exit your vehicle before you get to the marker and equip one before you enter the bar. I've done it on xbox. Great video as always 😊

Also, the ambient music in the pause menu is no longer a thing in the latest versions. They all now play the default GTA IV menu theme. Although I have heard that you can still mod it back in if you do so desire.

This is why GTA 4 is better than GTA 5. You don't get any subtle details like this nowadays. All of this subtle details are what make GTA 4 the best GTA game of all time.

Except that GTA 5 and RDR2 are a lot more detailed than 4, this game is really good but it's not nearly as detailed as those games and that's pretty much a fact.

You could use the trainer mod and find the relationship groups click that and use the num pad left or right to select gang members of Liberty City press one and your in there gang, I use this a lot if I want to mess around with NPCs I could have the gangs help me.

I swear everytime I replay this game I'm finding a new way to do a mission or new dialogue. I wore glasses on 2nd date with Michelle then had them off on the 3rd and she acknowledged it. She said Niko looks better with the glasses ahha
