100% fix for GMAIL not pushing emails for Samsung Galaxy S9 S10 Android / No notifications

This is what I've done to fix my Samsung S9+ which was not receiving new emails or email notifications from the GMAIL app.

Thanks a lot to Andy for this video. I had to go one extra step, i.e, Open Settings -> Select "Accounts & BackUp" -> Accounts -> Scroll to the end of the list & enable/toggle on "Auto sync data" (or) You can also do the sae through Gmail app -> Settings -> Top right click on the vertical dots -> "Manage Accounts" -> enable/toggle on "Auto sync data" Im using S9, One Ui V2.1 EDIT : Incase if you have enabled "Power saving mode" then Open Settings -> Device Care -> Battery -> "App Power Management" -> Click "Apps that wont be put to sleep" -> Add Gmail app.

Thank you so much for this video! I tried everything, spent hours looking for a solution and even went to 3 different cell phone providers and no one found the solution for this problem BUT you did! Now I receive notification for my emails! Thanks again!

Allow App while data saver on, that was the one for me, all other settings were as above except that one. Great work and thank you.

This fix works on the A10 as well. Side note..remember to activate Allow app to run in background in the battery optimisation. But again thank you so much for your help. Ceers

Outstanding video...thanks so much!! Just had to do this on a Samsung A51 5G. Guessing this issue is part of Samsung's factory OS settings - seems like they would have fixed by now.

Thank you I was going nuts. I was not receiving emails unless I opened and refreshed the apps on my Samsung note10lite, for more than a year. This looks like it would work..🤞

Yo Any,..I have been getting my gmails but not the sound notification, so I always had to go into gmail to see if I had any. It is a nuisance when your trying to sell something that your email is linked to. Can you advise?

Sadly, I have all these suggestions already employed on my S9 and still no joy with notifications coming through or emails being correctly pushed. Also, when I open an email, I then hear the notification or shortly after I close it...

Didn't work. Have an S10 and the options for Gmail battery are unrestricted, optimized and restricted. I changed it from optimized to unrestricted and checked the rest (allow background, allow usage while data saver.)

Your lucky. My Gmail constantly doesn't show a tab or give me a sound notification of new mail. I constantly have to reset everything and maybe it will work. Nothing helps. My A52 gives me problems recognizing my finger print, but yet if it's locked in my pocket it will start peeping trying to make calls, or take screen shots of other apps open in the background. I'm soooo tired of this.

Really hope this works, this has been driving me crazy for years and I'm finally tired of it after I missed an important work email. I have an iPhone 14 pro max as well. It's such a boring phone but I always feel a buzz when there is an email!

Think about all the extra time you don't have to waste because Apples just works. I suppose if others like tinkering on devices and you've got the extra time more power to you. I can't miss or delay receiving text or emails.

I'm sorry , but even AFTER doing this....the phone only gets notifications when I wake up the screen. If I don't, I never get them at all. I even did a reset, which worked great for a few days, then went back to not getting anything on time.
