Currently working on the second part after looking at all of your suggestions, seems like a lot of people are conflicted on what iconic means pls let’s not read to much into it and enjoy the history of kpop and how it evolved I’ll try to be accurate but if not let’s not castrate me and instead educate me because I’m still a new kpop fan (since 2015) so while doing my research and speaking with people I’m met with a lot of bias. I’ll try my best but it won’t be perfect keep in mind; I’ll try to do 100 more - we’ll have to play the waiting game it’s hard to put so many clips in loool thanks guys for attention for this video ❤️

worldofelegance15 I get a lot of questions like this, the best thing to do with these kind of videos is to lessen the length of clips to 10 seconds each since it’ll be hard to identify copyrighted music within that duration. I sometimes put the length to 20 seconds but anything over that gets blocked, so to avoid that I make it less than 20 seconds.

So to explain to all the people writing "But what about BP" or "Twice should be here" etc. just because they're really good and has a lot of views does NOT mean they are iconic!Like never in my life would I compare "TT" with "Fantastic baby" or "Bombayah" with "I am the best"!Iconic kpop songs are songs that songs that kinda defined kpop and made it to what it is today and those songs you think of when you hear "KPOP".Don't take me wrong I do love the new songs aswell (EDIT:I do agree that those songs WILL be iconic and of course there are some songs here that both me and you will disagree on but thats cuz this was someones OPINION!Some people don't know what that word means.)

I mean okay but if you really think like that poeple don't put Joker by Dalshabet in this list...Compared to fantastic baby its really not iconic. Not at all even. And TT is iconic for many reasons already. They broke every record with this song and album (most viewed, most selled by a GG band, the one who stayed longer in the charts) and they are the one who broke their own records with this song. Cannot be more iconic than that. I know what you're trying to say is its too recent to be put on the list but honestly its not. I don't see one argument that TT doesn't fit for being iconic. But okay x).

Michelle Heinz an Iconic song is popular by definition. And I said thats the only thing you can said about TT is that its too new, but again no. An Iconic song is a song who broke records, change the kpop game or put the band into fame. TT did all of that, and by definition it will become a classic, and iconic even If I still think its already the case, but okay.

I remember when I was 11 or 12 I used to listen to Super Junior, FX, Girls Generation and Shinee, and I listened to them just because I loved the rhythm of the songs (no fandoms) I stopped listening to kpop and now that I am 20 I listened to this genre again thanks to BTS and seeing their videos makes me nostalgic : ')

^ yeah because they only like to stan their own groups & they don't like to look into the history of kpop. If you told it to a person that doesn't stan any kpop groups I'm sure they would think of psy, bigbang, girls generation, 2ne1, etc. for kpop. "popular" is waaaayy different from *ICONIC*, not because that group is "POPULAR" that doesn't mean their songs were "ICONIC" yes, there are many popular groups here in the list and their songs were *really iconic*. It truly represents what KPOP is. And yeah, the number of views of a mv doesn't mean its iconic. Cause KPOP before doesn't give a damn about the number of views you get, cause kpop before is all about *PURE & TRUE TALENTS*

Here's the difference between popular and iconic. Big Bang went on multiple MAMA with Fantastic Baby and people jammed to it like if its new, new fans and old fans and non-fans jam to it and the song is at least 1+ year old and relevant. Iconic wisthand time. Popular is a fad. Iconic leaves a mark. Another example, you got group till this day covering SNSD's Gee and In The New World. Iconic is a national craze that even old people get into. When Brown Eyed Girls came out, even grandmas knew how to dance to Abracadabra. Last, but not least, let's take my bias group (forever) 4minute, while Crazy is really popular (heard it on a recent variety show episode), their iconic sing will always be Hot Issue. Even, till this day, you hear it. Like Park Ji Yoon came out with Coming of Age Ceremony a long time ago and you got generations of idols covering it as if it was a must to cover it.

It was the time where everyone was a multifandom and every Fandom supported each other and every band made duets with other bands and boy bands used to make fun of girl bands in a cute way especially super junior and there were no fights nothing.... and also they exchange songs girl to boy-boy to girl. I'm in tears ri8 now😭 I'm from south India , I literally know every song in this video. My sis and I started listening kpop in 2007 and stopped in 2014 and we still listen to the old ones....❤ its just giving me all the nostalgic feeling right now aww.....c'mon my old kpoppers let's hug each other 🥰❤😭

Ohh what a nostalgic video! Seeing Rainism, It's Raining, Tell Me, Again&Again, Hands Up, Mirotic, Rising Sun, Haru Haru, Lies... :') and SS501! I love it so much when I see them in these kind of videos because many new fans don't know them, while they were the first group I love, and they were really successful those times. It hurts :( but I'm so glad DoubleS301 is together even now^^ I'm happy to witness those golden times, they were really beautiful. I feel so old T_T Thanks for the video! I 90% agree with this. For those complaining, Having millions of views on YT doesn't make a song iconic, its basically the impact that it left behind. As in, even though you don't stan the group or even know the artist behind song but you can sing along and probably dance the choreo, Like some songs came out like 8yrs ago but people are still jamming to them to date(now that's iconic).
