Well my friend, you know what they say about shortcuts….” If it was easy, it would be the way”. Great job. I also have the X50 , my second e-bike and my favorite as it is capable in ugly situations… thanks for posting buddy!!

Isn’t that the truth! Glad to hear you’re enjoying your X50 as well. If you don’t mind me asking, what is the other e-bike you have and which do you like more? Mine is the only one I’ve ridden and don’t have much to compare it to.

I'm waiting on my Jansno X70 to arrive soon, and I live in Newport, KY and grew up in Loveland along the bike trail... you did the exact trip I'm planning lol.

The X70 looks like it'll be a great bike and should cover even more ground than the X50 without charging as often. The route I took was fairly easy and low traffic. Minus the construction detour...

Thanks for uploading the adventure! I have the same bike and absolutely love it. I have put almost 800 miles now on it. I ride it fast and pretty hard with full throttle. Same creaking noise that I had to lubricate. Not a big deal. Support has been outstanding. Can't go wrong with this one especially for the price.

It’s great to hear from someone who has put some serious miles on the bike! Did you swap out any components or have you left it stock?
@bosthebozo5273
@bosthebozo5273 9 ай бұрын
It's mostly stock. I did add a full twist throttle because right now I'm kinda doing more of the moped thing lol. But an adventure like this looks fun, I should go on one. Other things I added were some small storage bags and full mirrors. And a new tire already wore the rear one out. I added flatout sealant to the tires as well and it saved me. I got a puncture from a staple on the rear. Pulled it out, a little air came out and then it sealed itself. Still riding on the same tube! Curious where you got the front rack? Ive been looking for a way to store bigger things on the bike besides a backpack. @@attainableadventure

Shiiii if it can go crazy through that mud and still work after? That bike fuckin handlesss I can’t wait to get my replacement tire in the mail. It sadly came broken with a rear tire broken , the rim on the side bed was broken so I cannot ride it until I get my replacement, I’ve just been watching jensno x50 riding videos while I wait cause I’m so excited. Can’t wait for your next jensno post

Thanks man! This bike has exceeded all expectations. I did have the throttle seize up after all that mud but the peddle assist still works fine. I reached out to the distributor and they’re sending a replacement already. I’ve been extremely happy with the support side even with its limited availability in the states. Good luck on getting yours repaired and on the road!

@@MoppyPoppy I thought it did okay but the rear wasn’t sprung for my weight (240lbs). Once I swapped out the rear shock and put on the hydraulic brakes I thought it did pretty darn well. It really comes down to how comfortable you are on single track though. I’ve taken cross bikes on MTB trails along with my DR650. I’ll take it to the MTB park once the new throttle gets here and put a video up afterwards.

I think this is my favorite video on this bike so far. I got mine late May, and I love it, it's just about the best money I've ever spent. I enjoyed it so much, I got one for my little brother, and he's digging it. I'm likely going to hit the 2,000 mile mark this week. For me, this is my daily commuter, and I use it for shopping, getting to events around town, and bike camping, about 8 trips so far this season. I haul my gear on a small trailer, but I'd Love to get setup with the type of gear carrying rig you have. The only change I've done to mine so far is replacing the mechanical brakes with hydraulic brakes, and it makes if feel like a new bike. I have a few questions if I may. 1. What did you do with the rear shock? I come in at about 250 pounds, and I'd love to hear what you did. 2. Where did you get your 4 amp charger? I have 2 extra batteries that I take with me bike camping, and having a faster charger would be epic. I haven't found one that works yet.

Thank you! That’s awesome that you’re closing in on 2,000 miles already, that’s impressive! It really is a great setup for the price. I did the hydraulic brakes early on and it made a world of difference with confidence in close quarters. Rear shock setup- I went with a preload and rebound adjustable 170mm shock with a 650lb spring. I entered my weight and shock stroke into a calculator online and it said 650lb is ideal. I’ve been super happy with it so far. I’ve even been rocking it on the locks mountain bike trial pretty regularly. 4 amp charger - i picked this one up from Amazon as well. It’s just a simple 4 amp/hr charger with an XLR plug. An hour top off every 20mi (with pedaling) was enough to ride most of the day.

whats creaking so loud?
@attainableadventure
@attainableadventure 10 ай бұрын
Unfortunately the rear pivot point is not lubricated from factory. The creaking started 10ish miles into the ride and only stopped when it rained. I was utterly sick of the sound by the end of the trip. I plan to pull the bolt and add some wheel bearing grease in the joint before I take it out again.

@@attainableadventureyoo my guy, with pedal assisting it and at 17mph, would you get 30-35-40 miles out of it?
@attainableadventure
@attainableadventure 8 ай бұрын
@@michielroskam3877 doubtful. So far at power level 2, which is about 15-17mph, I can average around 30 miles on fairly flat terrain. On power level 1, about 10-12mph, you might be able to stretch it to 40 miles with heavy pedaling. I did push 20mph pedaling about 70% of the way on flat terrain at power level 3 but the battery was fully dead at 23 miles.
