Yep, bikes are clean with newly waxed chains. I've tried explaining that bike maintenance is like keeping the kitchen tidy, I'm not sure Julie could see the connection 😁🚴 Cheers Terry

Another good ride and it doesn't look like the weather spoiled it for you all. A pot of double cream though 🤨 🤢 Yuck! 🤣 The Merida looks a very purposeful mile munching machine Mike - good colour as well. Good ride all!

Not sure what's going on but my body just craves dairy when I'm on the bike. Chocolate, crisps, chips, ice cream at all other times just not when I'm on the bike. Yes, the Merida is a mile eater for sure👍 Cheers Mick👍

Another nice ride around your beautiful country. A little wetter than I care for, though. I'm working on colder rides - and I'll got out if I'm just going to be sprinkled on a bit - but I haven't worked up to actual rain rides yet. The shoulder has healed enough that I've been getting out on the bike the last 3 weeks or so. 10 or 11 miles before work, and longer rides on the weekends. I did 40 miles last Friday without too much discomfort. It's so nice to be rolling again. 😄🚴‍♂

Glad to hear you're back on the bike again. 👍😁 We don't like to go out into rain. But recently we've been rained on more often than not! I try to have in my mind..... 'my skin is waterproof'..... and ' as long as it is not cold' .... it's just endurance!, 😂

@@julie-wheelersatlarge I know I'm not going to melt, but I just don't like to be in wet clothes (unless it's my swim trunks). Soon, though, there won't be enough miles in the good weather days and I'll have to venture out when it's not so nice.

Good effort, seems odd to see my ‘manor’ in one of your vids (i live in Frome), infact i rode through Longleat an hour ago actually.. and you did well to ride past the Bath Arms in Horningsham, something i often fail to do.

Great job on your long wet ride! Not a fan of wet rides for many reasons. Ended up needing shoulder surgery after a slippery morning ride. That was many, many years ago. I'm 63 now & my goal is to stay upright & moving while preserving my body parts...lol.😅 YEEHAA! And by the way Julie...I ordered the Liv Devote Advanced 2 Be Good edition in Nordic breeze. Should arrive this week at the bike shop. Can't wait...I feel like a kid while waiting. 😊 Do you guys ride w/tubeless tires? We'll see you in the next video! 🚴‍♂️🚴‍♀️🚴 YEEHAA!

Oooh exciting Barbs,! New bike day is always great fun! 😀 I think the thought of coming off the bike is always scarey...... I've bounced several times, the bouncing is harder to recover from as i get older! 🤣🤭 I've always fallen on single track though, not road. Hope I never do that! 🤞🤞🤞 Yes we do ride tubeless tyres, works well for me! (Touch wood. 🤫)

At the Ginger Piggery you parked up at my home built green bike/table docking stations. The idea is to park your bike, sit astride and use the table at coffee cup level. Maybe next time. One of them is fitted with training rollers for those wanting to keep peddling.

Enjoyed this ride, 100 miles seems tough, the furthest i've cycled so far is 20 miles, determined to improve that this year.

It's amazing how quickly you'll improve your distance. In our case it was getting used to pedalling for long periods rather than worrying about the distance too much. Good luck 👍
