Buddy Mike and I have had some long distance, high mileage trips.
This one takes the cake.
Follow along on this feature length movie of our 100 mile trip through the wilderness of northern Algonquin park.
We paddle through sunshine, fog, rain and hail.
We encounter wildlife, catch fish and keep up an amazing pace,
100 miles in the wilderness the movie is a 1 parter, switching up the method in which I bring you a multi day trip this time.
I hope you all enjoy.

Hey, Joe. You're looking well. Glad I caught this one. Brings to mind my Outward Bound experience when I was forty-five up around that area. That was twenty-five years ago...an amazing trip that changed my life inside and out. Once you're miles out in the great wild north, there's no turning back; you have to deal with what comes at ya. I remember doing solo, long portages, black flies, an electrical storm while sitting on a rubber mat, exhaustion and tears. At the time I thought I was an outdoorsy type of gal, but little did I know. I returned to civilization bug bitten and determined not to sweat the small stuff. What a beautiful country we live in. Thanks for sharing your trips with us. No more roughing it for me...just nice little saunters on a bush path. Charlotte

Have traveled some of your route. Tried to camp on that Nadine portage campsite but it was occupied by some guy and his daughter. We hung around waiting for an invitation as we didn't want to ask but the guy didn't offer . We were pretty grungy being in the same clothes day and night for 3 days and my buddies face beet red with sunburn. Maybe he noticed my buddy looking over his attractive 15 yr old daughter like a dog looks at a steak. But it was 7 pm and 4 hrs down river to the next campsite. We gave up on the guy and paddled back up river a bit to where there was a sand bank and set up a campsite. So much for Algonquin neighborliness. The campsite is huge being some old logging camp. We had just crossed the park from Tim L , in 3 days , doing 12 hr days. And were on the verge of exhaustion.

LOL I do the same but I always mak sure it's an early night as I'm always like, 20 minutes more or I wanna see what kind of steak he has, so I'll just watch it till then. I used to love watching Scout drooling as he waited for his piece of steak. 😂

Keep up the videos Joe, hopefully I can do some camping when I’m a little older, only 15 right now but when I’ve got through school and sorted out. I want to get some gear and hopefully do some exploring. Nice vids!

16:49 "it's time to take a load off, got me chili done." And as I'm sitting outside by my fire enjoying a beer I just remembered I had some chili, though I'm about 1000 feet away from my refrigerator...

I got exhausted just watching you 😆 But then I'm 71 now.😜 So I make a camp fire pit in my back yard 1-2x yr and come in to sleep in my comfy bed. Especially when you have rain, hail and freezing cold weather! Nope not my idea of fun but some how I couldn't stop watching you two goofy guys. Take care Joe, love to hear how your little family is doing. Love you from southern Indiana, Pat

Darn gotta get things done. Saw thirty minutes so far and I'm looking forward to seeing the rest later tonight. My daughter is getting married next month and I have to get things ready to go into Utah from Oregon. So the rest of this movie will be a big treat.
