As you age it's no longer the skin or the jawline or lips or hair, but the glint in the eyes and the SMILE. The SMILE is everything. If you have a beautiful SMILE at age 100 you really have made it in life - this is what I believe.

Men do. But why has America infected the world that only YOUTH is of value. It’s a disgrace…..why make programmes like this as though ageing is a social solecism. I hope, one day, someone has the foresight to show the “before” and “after” of the greedy executives and the idiots sucking it all up, thereby damaging themselves physically and mentally. One thing: YOU’RE ALL GOING TO DIE. WHY ARE YOU WASTING YOUR LIFE ON OBSESSING OVER A WRINKLE OR A FEW EXTRA POUNDS. It’s senseless and delusional, beauty fades, but intelligence, unless fated with a terrible disease, goes on forever and will be passed to future generations. Beauty will not, no-one will be a clone of your gorgeous selves, a mere superficial resemblance - perhaps. But so what? (I’m referring to genuine beauty, of course, not the bits of surgery with which you have distorted yourselves).

I enjoyed it. I didn’t realise it was in order of age until the 89 year olds, so I will watch it again. All the earlier decades recognising young faces flowed along like my own life. They aged as I aged. As an almost 69year old, I am not worried about my ageing appearance very much. What doesn’t show is the chronic aches and pains from old injuries, weakness of grip for removing lids, vision problems then cataract surgery, fatigue from standing in line, staying awake after a meal. Life is a series of milestones and reaching each one is a triumph. All of the possible dangers of a particular age have been avoided so each birthday is a celebration of achievement.

@@AScrapOfKindness In our society, the older you get the more you fade to the public at large. Service people especially. You're treated as a bumbling, slow witted individual. Being a woman makes it worse. Had trouble with air conditioning. Told the maintenance man what was happening. He checked the motor and told me all was OK. Mumbled something about taking a long time to cool the space was normal. I reported it again a few days later when thermostat would not go below 85. Next day another maintenance guy came by to tell me that there was a problem with the main compressor. If my initial description of the problem had not be ignored, ..... oh, well. The point is as an older woman, my input was downplayed. This is especially true when it comes to mechanical or computer problems. I know and acknowledge when I don't know what the problem is, so over the years I've listened and learned. I think I'll stop my rant now and leave you all in peace.

For all the women pictured who did not go the route of botox, cheek fillers, surgeries... they have my total respect. I think women are so much more beautiful and age so much better when they just let themselves age naturally and make an effort to eat right, control their weight and live a healthy lifestyle. There is something very sexy about a woman who is graying & may have fine lines but keeps herself healthy and in good shape. That is so alluring❤❤ ( and NO creepy body art like I see on so many young girls today).

Some actors is like wine, Diane Lane, Helen Mirren, Tom Cruise, George Clooney, Brosnan, Gary Newman, Anette Bening, Denzel Quaid, Morgan, Russel, Sam Elliot, Didn´t recall Susan Sarandon ever been young,.. and Liam Neeson he still kick asses in his movies even in cartoons. I think they make them to look even older in this video cavalcade or captured them in bad moment.

Sam Elliott and Clint Eastwood are gods. And Susan Sarandon, Angie Dickinson, Katharine Hepburn, Betty White, Gena Rowlands, Olivia deHavilland and Jodie Foster prove that aging naturally (and staying out of the sun) are by far the best option. I think that Jennifer Connolly would've aged as beautifully as they did, but her persistent eating disorders really damaged her looks. Like the others, she has a naturally beautiful complexion. Nicole Kidman would've been stunning had she abstained from extreme plastic surgery. Instead she looks like a freak. Sad. Anthony Hopkins has aged so well because he has a beautiful, artistic spirit.

Anthony Hopkins saved his looks by quitting drinking alcohol as he was an alcoholic like so many of them are! If they indulge in booze, drugs and /or have a nicotene addiction, i.e. smoking and many of them have and died in their 60s, they're not going to age well! The late great Kate Hepburn did get skin cancer because being of Scottish descent she had fair skin that was sensitive to the sun and she was out in the sun a lot being a natural athlete and got skin cancer which she had removed! The photo of her there is when she was in her 70s, still pretty! She really put on weight and aged into her 80s and 90s. Robert Redford is also of Scottish/Irish ancestry like I am and his skin is also very wrinkled because being an outdoors man he didn't protect his fair skin either!

we are born, we live, we die....no one is exempt. since the beginning of mankind and every other animal. some for an hour like some insects...some for 20 years a cat...for 80 or so years for elephants and maybe thousands of years for trees. etc etc etc etc.

Wow, amazing video. So many of these stars are older than I thought, I grew up knowing them from movies and I am no spring chicken, but still surprised at some of the ages. I do prefer the faces that have not had a lot of work done. There used to be a time when getting a face lift or any other procedure was done so people didn't notice, now you really do notice!

Thank you for this video. The young faces are beautiful but the older faces are more interesting. I say this as a 70 year old woman who is personally trying to accept the aging process. I was once “pretty”😢 but now am just old….😢your video gives me a better perspective on age😊

It’s weird how people who had big eyes when they were younger, now have itty bitty eyes. (ex. Shirley MacClaine). And people’s ears & noses grow. (Tom Hanks).
