$100 Nissan 300ZX Update! Big Progress!

Here is the update video on my 1987 Nissan 300XX Z31! Huge progress since the last part I posted on this channel about a year ago. Hopefully many more videos on this car to come.

I know it has no mention of fitting a z31, however all you have to do is flip the shifter around and it fits perfect.

The Z is back! I really like the the improvements you did on it to bring it "" brand new"", but it is ending up so well, so good luck with it! I will suggest you to keep it as original as possible.

Looking just fabulous mate, you’re a very talented young bloke that inspires me alot, your ethics and idealisms on fixing these old cars is just great, not over spending or replacing things that don’t need to be ect ect. Would kill to see a driving video next! Maybe some skids/drifts if thats your thing😂🤘🏼

Love the car and the video. Maybe check out the timing belt if you haven't changed it yet. Do the water pump while you're in there.

Your rear end 'clunk' sound is coming from the diff mount. Very common problem on the 1st three generations of Z cars. I have an 87 just like yours that I just got, also in the same dark metallic gray color. needs work though. good job on yours!

What LED lights did you get? Are the DOT standard?

I got these- a.co/d/4hA3MOn It’s just a replacement bulb as I wanted to keep the original glass housing

I can’t post photos on here however I can explain what they look like. Both low and high beam honestly are pretty close to what they’d be with the stock bulbs. I think this is due to having LEDs in the glass housings, something with how it reflects within the housing. If you want brighter headlights you’ll need a different housing, one that isn’t glass and isn’t meant for halogen bulbs
