i did forget to mention that due to having 80str you should have an extra 8% pen (im pretty sure how that works) total pen becomings 77 without sear edit: 30k views is wild bro the algorithm loved me for this

This build can be replicated on a mage build with some adjustments (i.g. prophets cloak for 25% mantra pen instead of way of navae pen)

I have a attunement less with 5 lvl mantra strong left and my pen is 80ish percentage on sword and it is 131 years old build, but still really good. Only downside is the mage builds with like long range ahh builds.

Shattered katana would be a better option with million ton piercer. 3 star pen (14%), Shattered Katana (30%), Thresher claws (10%), Million ton piercer pre shrine (5% plus about 5% for 50 strength). With just that, you can reach 64% pen without having to focus too much into it. Then if you add sear you can do a true dmg build

Iron Blunderbuss has : 40% BASE pen with 3 star PEN 10% PEN on Bullet (50%) Additionnal 20% PEN from Armor Piercing (70%) I am afraid the 2nd Amendment wins.

The only issue I'd have with this is the fact you can't really reach the 40% pen from sear unless you do a flawless fight, and by then you probably won't even need sear if you can flawless your enemy 😭

Managed to get 97% Passive Pen by giving up sear, going 80wp for Piercing Will and scrapping Reinforced Armor sadly

Sear bypass the pen cap . So going 90 strength is useless with sear

you can use drakemaw if you want yes, but the navae crit is very helpful as it insta block breaks and collapsed lung exists
