For beginners trying to make good hiding holes/trenches I recommend going my way (Vietnam style) make a hole dig down far and make a maze you can make as many tunnels as you want but keep it small and crammed so it’s hard to get through and make some of tunnels connected and some are not also make some of the tunnels reach to the surface so you can peep your head out thru multiple locations and if you got snipers on you you can go back in and peep thru another and / now the fun part when an enemy group comes to raid your trench go in and hide behind the walls moving swiftly thru the layout of your labyrinth taking them out 1 by 1 until their all dead and when you make the maze small as I said it will be harder for them to move thru it

BTW, ww1 wasn't just troops mindlessly charging though a km of land with barbed wire and craters. They were actual groups or companies which were commanded by officers, and these units would stay close together for communication and support. Actually, many reports said that taking the first enemy trench was extremely easy, but because of the lack of supplies they often had to retreat as enemy troops from supporting trenches would come to take them. It was very similar to Napoleonic tactics, just that you had separate units acting independently like light infantry troops, but still organised in one group When you make ww1 tabs videos, you can show this by just making certain groups with specific troops lead by an officer, then they charge together. It pretty easy to do so Also, cavalry was still effective during the great war, as they could cover 3 times the ground infantry could under a day, and were vital scout troops and artillery carriers. They were also the most heavily armed, as they had 2 machine guns for every 500 troops (meanwhile there was 2 machine guns for every 1000 British troops) I'd like to mention another point, that these close order tactics with independent units was highly effective and cavalry didn't completely die, as even then machine guns weren't always properly manned all the times. They could be used for flanking weak points, or more devastatingly, create havoc upon enemy supply lines These are ultimately the reasons why the German military wasn't the best, as it would have logistical mismanagement at a high rate. This is why Britain actually had the most modernised, proffesional and hardy troops along with her empire, till the very end of the second world war. Britain, was an absolute god when it came to administration and logistics compared to others Also, this myth of officers in the first world war still stuck with the old ways is just complete rubbish, as they were adapting to the changing circumstances

In my opinion, Entrenched is one of the best games on roblox, taking into consideration the graphics, gameplay and game mechanics.

I think when he said he’ll make you clean a minefield with a magnet I think he was referring to when the allies made the axis clear minefields with their feet

Tbh both teams need to make bunkers to protect from artillery because I’ve done it before and it is a very effective tactic

Scot you should play Trench Warfare it's also a ww1 game and it's really good but it doesn't have any portable machine guns engineering or sniper rifles but it does have many more countries that participated in the war
