Dope video man! 2 part question -- from watching vendor POVs I was always under the impression that the 80% rule was usually for the vendors to buy cards off customers to help cushion and expand margins on eventual flips/sales. What's the incentive for current vendors to sell at 80-85% like we saw for the first buy? I would imagine their margin on that has to be so thin at that point. Second, how do you set the price for when you flip the cards? Saw the $20 shipping for the slab and was wondering how you factor that in when setting prices / was that an unexpected shipping cost?

Awesome comment! So first it all depends on the cards; for example if you buy a card for 50$ grade it for 17 and it comes back a 10 and is worth 200 you still get 160 which is awesome margin. That’s genuinely when you can buy like I do. However relationships help as well! Also, that shipping was a little unexpected. Usually it cost $3.80-4.30 for me 💪

@@MNMLCards does this only work for cards that are harder to move? ie; if they graded a moonbreon for a 10 that is very liquid... I can't imagine in any scenario that they'd do 80% when they could easily get full value. (minus relationship transaction.... which probably even out in the long run anyways since you rub their back and they rub yours)

Cool video. Quick question -- What sort of seller protections do you have when you do these "claim sales". I've been interested in trying to move some stuff off eBay but the thought of people returning payment or claiming they didn't get the card gives me hesitation. Do you do Venmo/paypal goods and services?

Hey man thank you for the comment! Yep so I use Venmo and PayPal protection as well as proof of sale on Instagram stories posting each sale and then I ship everything through PayPal so they can see proof of delivery!

Also when starting out where do you try to sell like I understand Ebay but it seemed like you used social media so do you sell on Instagram/Tik tok but then if you have a small following its harder to sell them no?
