I mostly played with these settings depending on the game: EE Cycle Rate- either 50%/60%/100% EE Cycle skip - either mild underclock (1)/max overclock or leave default Multithreaded VU1 - check Instant VU1 - check Vulkan Some games work better with frame limiter turned off too.

What do you personally prefer? Retroid Pocket 3+ Metal or anbernic rg405m or rg405v? I hope you can help me because I will be purchasing and this is the first time I will be using an emulator

I do not own rp3+ metal version but I do have the plastic rp3+ and it's a good device, rg405m is a more premium feeling machine but doesn't have stacked shoulder buttons, pick rg505v if you like the vertical form factor. I personally like rg405m among these 3 you mentioned.

Have you unzipped the rom file before putting it in your SD card? If not, try that.

I tried to launch SSX Tricky (US), but it just showed black screen, then I thought the continent of the BIOS must match the continent of the game, so I launched the EU version, it pops up "Checking for memory card" and then makes me select the language. After selecting it, it remains black screen. I tried SSX 3 but it also freezes with the snowflake in the bottom right corner. I don't know where to hit my head anymore…

It will not run bully well, not matter what you do. This chip is not powerful enough to play that game

@nicklong27 I'd say a few games which were a bit laggy like the nfs underground 2 and Nba Street would perform better with gamma os installed. Iv done a test with Anbernic RG405m, and that was the improvement that I have noticed. So it's noticeable for some games and other games would still be laggy even with gamma os installed, hope it helps.
