the thing is that instead of using a projector people like the actual LEDS, they shine a little better and more realistic, you can physically touch them too. it’s a good mod don’t get me wrong i’m not joshing you ATALL, but if i was gonna get stars i’d rather just buy the real deal, on a budget tho this is great!!!

@@bxnbrch they’re not, i was actually wrong, they used fiber optic strands, so if you think a projector from china is gonna compare to a high output light machine that is connected to the fibers you’re smoking fentanyl. anyone attempting this any vehicle before 2010 maybe should buy the projector because by the time someone without actual experience got the headliner off half of the corresponding trim is destroyed, it is the real life definition of biting off more than you can chew.v

Can you do a q&a about the lights? 1. Does the bundled up lights create any leaked light? 2. Does the roof show any tracing of the bundled lights? Seems like it's much brighter when the strands are bundled together and zip ties or taped up so I feel like you would see the bundle tracer thru the headliner? 3. Any light leaks out of the edges of the liner?

1.no 2.no because on the tip of the strands light up not the whole strand. 3.no only light you see is the stars

@@ljraww9064 thanks for the reply bro. But when you show the strands bundled together on the left side of your car, you can see them very bright blue. That's why I asked even though you're saying the light only emits from the tip. But clearly light is passing thru the entire strand that's kind of how light works. Anyway that's why I ask. In every video I watch of this thing I see the bright bundled lights and am curious about that showing thru

I used a glue gun for my install… you just need to have good wire management. Make bundles then make smaller bundles and glue them as you pull them through. It’s really not that hard!

Bruh if you didn't know about JB Weld prior to Starlight Headliner, you've been missing the eff out. I've used JB Weld to hold some shit together that would scare the reddest of necks straight outta their work boots and have em begging for a Budweiser.

My bother did it on his 2003 ram and 2005 Silverado he changed the headlight to a thin suade

I wonder if this is doable on a 16 fusion titanium energi..the rear seat doesn't fold, the rear seatbelts have airbags built in so I don't know if the box can fit in there? Hmm

What if you have a sunroof? Will it damage the light strips when you open and close it ?

normally the sunroof has its own enclosure so it doesn't contact anything but i would search that up to the specific car model

Liner looks good... what JB Weld did you use. They have a few different bond products.
