In 2021, srilankan president announced overnight transition to organic farming.. I think the decision was overturned 2 years ago & their economy is still trying get back to where it was before the decision.. so, considering the burst in population & parallel urbanization.. there's a need for revolutionary change in farming methods to obtain sufficient toxic free yield..

Bicarbonate of soda soak works just as well too just so you know Mr Guru… me.. I’m a wash everything vegetable wise with a tiny bit of fairy liquid because if it’s good enough for me cups cutlery and dishes etc then blah blah blah Kerching bling ding… I rinse thoroughly mind.. I wash everything I’m gonna put in my mouth chew and swallow except for that is meat and poultry… when and if I fancy something meaty I will use lemon or lime or vinegar to do the task of cleaning before consuming but I’m pescatarian for the most part so there you go… my opinion on this topic… Thanks and you’re welcome Ciao;)

I don't understand. Put turmeric,salt,etc,etc,in the water,soak vegetables for 10 minutes fine,got that. Then rinse under the tap water. But the tap water has chlorine in it. So defeats the whole thing. Might as well just rinse under the tap water from the beginning.

If you are ridding the foods of pesticides and other chemicals that are not in tap water, but then still having to rinse them in chlorine, yes you are still getting some small amount of chlorine but you are removing successfully a large amount of additional chemicals. Seems like a step in the right direction for those that don't have access to better water.

🎯 Key Takeaways for quick navigation: 00:00 *🌱 Chemicals used in agricultural production can lead to severe chronic health problems due to the lack of micronutrients in the soil.* 01:24 *💧 Running tap water over vegetables may expose them to chemically contaminated water, such as chlorine, which can harm both organisms and humans.* 02:48 *🍃 Using natural methods like turmeric, salt, neem, or baking soda to clean fruits and vegetables can effectively remove harmful pesticides, ensuring safer consumption.* Made with HARPA AI

It would be helpful and PRACTICAL if you mention in Tsp & Tbs rather than in grams. It is ridiculous to expect us to go for the weighing scale anon.
@gsgs56653 ай бұрын
The majority of the world (over 90%) uses the metric system so it's actually more practical saying grams if they want the majority of the world to follow their instructions easily. The US is just one of 3 countries that use imperial measurements and when we in the US make videos, we don't bother to use grams to try to reach the majority of the world, so why should they use tbsps for less than a handful of countries? The world is way bigger than the US.
