I feeeeel like a lil EQ bump, and saturation band on the 50-350hz could easily make these sound more comparable 👍🏼 I have a tlm 103 and I can’t justify buying it again if something that’s 100 bucks sounds this good!

Voice definitely sounds flatter with the AT2020, almost like you're singing in a barrel, and fuller with the TLM103, more lifelike and organic.

Listening with the focus on the guitar now, I can definitely hear more texture and depth with the TLM103. AT2020 isn't bad, but there is a tangible improvement with the Neumann. I own a AT2035, inching towards buying a TLM102.

Yeah I agree. The At2020 is kind of harsh and less pleasing to me. The TLM has a smoother fuller sound. AT is not bad at all for the price though.

Having used both of these multiple times i think AT2020 is a little bit harsher, with an emphasis in the high and the esses... BUT the thing is that with little production tweaking, like very little, you can remove that... and it costs just 100 bucks

For sure, I really like the 2020 for tracking rhythm acoustic. That harshness and high end makes the percussive aspects of the guitar stand out in a mix.

Hey man! Thanks for the shootout videos! What is your goto vocal mic? I use an AT-4050 for vocals and a WA-87r2 for acoustic instruments into an ID-22. Also, do you plan on posting any videos of your music you're recording?

Hey! Thank you so much. I’ve been using the tlm 103 as of late for vocals and acoustic instruments. I’ve got a ton of songs that I need to get around to releasing so i’ll do that at some point.
