I work at a fish store. The first box was generously overpriced on your end I’d say you got about $30 worth of fish. And the hawkfish goes for $90-$100 so you definitely underestimated the 2nd!

Thats what hurt me the most. Not acclimated and dumped right with the dirty water, full of bacteria, into the fresh water. Especial the bag with the dead fish.

For fish that are shipped the water becomes toxic fast once you open the bag. He means acclimate to the tank water that he’s putting it in

The Chinese high fin banned shark is one of the best fish I ever had. Beautiful, cute, and very sweet personality. I had one I named Spike and it got huge I had to eventually move him to a koi pond.

Chinese high fin banded shark is the full name. I have one in my koi pond and he’s only about 10 inches right now, but they can get up to 4 feet long. Make sure to have lots of algae for them to feed on

@@pokekid3334 in my experience he marked it about the correct price, possibly a little under price. Mine was $60 at a 4-6 inch size. I see 1 inch long ones go for $25

Definitely the salt water box was better! The fresh water box was just full of cheap fish that you could catch half of them for free out of the lakes and streams down in FL! So yeah I think you got taken with the fresh water fish. But I guess most of those will feed your other fish, so there is that. Great video and would love to see $250 VS $700 and others. Some of the "dead" goldfish could just be stressed and aren't moving, or you could try to revive the goldfish, you can tell if a fish is dead if their eyes are cloudy

You got ripped off on the 100 box. High fin loach - $20 to $30 for that size Feeder goldfish - $2.00 Crayfish - $2.00 to $3.00 Rosy red minnows - $2.00 Total: $26 to $37 Wow!

100$ box was a trip to petco and they put it in a cardboard box and used scotch tape for the video. These mystery boxes are just for content. Not one real fish keeper will go out and waste $100 on random fish, much less $500. The boys needed feeders and content. I’d respect this channel and others like this if they kept it real. They think their viewers are stupid enough to believe it.

Love that highfin banded shark even though it was kind of dull but still cool fish. But that second box was fire you should name the orange and pink fish Sunny D or Mango. That crayfish was ok kind of pretty but kind of basic and only had one claw what a rip. Lol

Chinese hi fin sell for around $35. The crayfish may be juvenile of a giant species. If that's the case they could get the size of Larry. No idea the price though.

Hey Chris what would be pretty cool to experiment for one of ur ponds if u put a brick in it then put a tank on the brick where it’s upside down if u take a shop vac and suck in the tank the water rises and stays in upside down and the fish will swim in it then it will be a fish tower 😌
