Hare Krishna 🙏🙏, It means try to imitate Prabhupad's voice during your prescribed round (16). In initial stage we can try to learn how to chant with help of Prabhupad Japa machine, but with progress we must develop our own rhythm, also it is suggested to listen your own voice while you chant where as if you put Prabhupada Chanting machine's volume this high , you won't be able to listen your voice, another reason why this practice is not 100% correct that we will always try to match the rhythm with machine's rhythm and there are chances that we may loose our focus. I do prabhupada chanting sometimes and also inattentive chanting sometimes but when I watch this helpful video I know that this is a wrong way of doing chanting but I don't know what is the right way of doing chanting

if we are in walking position then our mind will automatically focus on near by things because we are in kalyug not in satyug so we need to understand that while doing japa one should sit a place for convenience he can put any image of Sri Krsna in front of him and then chant it is always prescribed that one should chant always in sitting position

Just like Shri Caitanya Mahaprabhu, if we take him as an ideal example then he always emphasised on dancing and chanting in ecstasy with all your heart and mind and body and soul, ( the idea of sankirtan ) Infact this is the only best way to attain the holy feet of Shri Krishna in the Yuga of Kali. if you read the book “ Srinammrit “ you’d get to know. And only if we let “ Bhakti “ be a subjective thing initially then only a lot of people might even come in it. @@tushyasanjay Hare krishna, that is understandable. But the point of this video is to complete atleast 16 rounds of chanting attentively, not as a formality or with distractions. Also when we chant, chant a full round complete then take intermission, not in the middle. Just as when someone go to a get together with his best friend or go on a date to meet someone, he is not like distracted by cellphones or other work during that meeting. He give his full attention to that person, that is manners otherwise it is considered rude that he came to meet me after a long time but always indulged in checking his phone and other things rather than enjoying the time together. Similarly, when we chant, the name is non different from krishna himself, it is the meeting time with krishna. So we should attend it attentively rather than checking our phones, cooking or driving etc. We should consider it as a meeting time with krishna and give our attention and focus to krishna only during that time. Otherwise no one would like it when he goes to meet a person but that person is partially attentive and partially talking on cellphone or cooking or driving. Would he like to meet him ever again? No
