I worked with wood for many years. Health issues and age have taken that enjoyment away. I appreciate your talent. Your table deserves to be sold only to someone that recognizes that it is more than just a table. It is a piece of art!

It should be called the wedding gift. The wood was chosen to be together, then it was shaped so they would match each other, then they were pressed together to become one flesh, now as one they can fulfill there destiny to serve others and be happy together doing it. Thats love in wood form!

Absolutely beautiful hand-crafted table. Hand rounded spreaders and wedged mortice and tenon joints, plus that mitre joint on the four corners... a testament to craftsmanship for sure. I wish I could afford it, and don't get me wrong, I completely understand the price, but it is 3 months income for my disabled household. I can always come back to your channel and enjoy it though.

the impressive part of this piece is not the proficient skill and knowledge that are required to make it stand. it is this simple yet fine, artistic blend of precision, tradition, roughness, silkiness, the balance of cultures and material appearance, this sense of weight and being light altogether, than only true interest and love for the subject are able, through the ages, to accomplish.

Jh.), aengl.cnāwan, engl. to know ‘kennen, wissen’, anord.knā ‘kann’. Außergerm. sind vergleichbar aind.jānā́ti ‘kennt, weiß, versteht’, toch. AB knā-‘wissen, kennen’, lit. žinóti ‘kennen, wissen’, aslaw. znati ‘kennen’, russ. znat’ (знать) ‘wissen, kennen’, mit ie. sk̑- bzw. sk-Suffix griech.gignṓskein (γιγνώσκειν), lat. nōscere (alat.gnōscere) ‘erkennen, kennenlernen’ sowie mit dem Partizipialsuffix ie. -to- aind. jñātáḥ ‘bekannt, verstanden’, griech. gnōtós (γνωτός), lat. nōtus‘bekannt’, air. gnāth ‘gewohnt, bekannt’. Bereits in mhd. Jh.). ;-)

Awesome work. Why such big wedges for the tenon? You take the risk of splitting the wood (you could argue that it’s not gonna move anyway, but the point of not having glue is for it to be repairable, which you can’t if the wood has split because of the wedges).
