Hey there, thanks for checking the Stacked Golf KZfaq channel! We’re Jon and Ashley, a husband and wife team of amateur golfers looking to share our love of the game with our viewers. Our goal is to inspire more golfers along with people who have never played before to get out on the golf course and have fun regardless of their age, budget, or skill level.
We find all kinds of golf deals at garage sales, thrift store, flea markets, auctions, online marketplaces, and more to show that you don’t have to spend a lot of money to start playing golf or upgrade your current golf bag. Along with our thrifting adventures, we specialize in reviewing the cheapest golf gear, gimmick clubs, As Seen On TV golf clubs, crazy training aids, and more to see if they are worth checking out to improve your golf game. You will also find course vlogs, golf challenges, and budget golf course reviews from our travels. We both love the game of golf and want to share our adventures with you.
Here’s a little about us: While most kids were watching cartoons, Jon was studying the Golf Channel to learn how to play and improve his golf game. He spent most of his childhood on the golf course and loves trying out new golf clubs and gear. Jon also loves to fish and kayak. If he could he would spend all his time on the golf course or catching giant bass.
Ashley is a beginner golfer with no athletic background whatsoever before attempting to pick up the game of golf. Her unnatural ability to read the green has made her a great putter but the rest of the game is still a work in progress and we hope you enjoy watching her improve on the channel. She is also known for finding incredible deals and unique finds both online and at thrift stores and garage sales. Along with golfing and budget shopping she also enjoys trying out and creating new recipes and using Jon as her taste testing guinea pig.

I am glad you are going to eBay!! I have been on eBay since it started...or soon afterwards! I will have to sell some of my watches, that I don't wear anymore, and my die cast model cars so I can buy some fairway woods! I sold my 2 Nike Fairway woods because they had firm graphite shafts, and I can't swing them properly anymore! I don't know why I got rid of my older Cobra fairways woods with Senior graphite shafts...oh yeah..now I remember.. those closed faced clubs had me hooking the ball! Fun episode....you were just 1 over par!

The old metal shaft ones are called pyratones. It's a coating they put over the steel shafts to make them appear more like hickory.

They were popular in the 1920’s and 30’s as steel shafts were first being accepted as he said to keep them looking like hickory. Not very popular or collectible but cool if you can find them with the pyratone in good shape and not breaking off. They also protected the steel as they were very easily rusted. I have a few in my collection.

great video. using that putting ball on the tee reminds me of vijay singh using the orange whip to practice his drive. EBAY!!!!!!! as im in a wheelchair and can no longer golf so i do not purchase much but letting us claw it out for your clubs is a sound business move. also some of us might buy more than just golf stuff like pyrex, disney toasters, star wars oven mitts etc. keep living that best life!

I believe the plastic on the outside of the steel shaft is pyratone which came out in the early 20s but wasn’t used until the 30s (I have my own full set of Walter Hagen honey boy clubs from the 30s that has the same design)

the fees on Mercari are quite a bit higher. Ive been selling on ebay for 16yrs, the shipping is easier to control too and you can keep the difference or donate it where as mercari just keeps the overage. Plus it is nice to be getting your money without waiting for the feedback.

Weirdest par(s). In high school practice on a 440 yard par 4, I was three under a pine tree 150 yards out. A skulled 7 iron rocketed into the pin about half way up and straight down into the cup. Would have been OB across a highway if the pin didn’t get in the way. Second was a par 3 in Columbus Ohio. Dumped tee shot in the lake, dropped on women’s tee and knocked that one in for a par…..helped out greatly by the flag which had slid down the pin to the ground and it helped smother the ball into the cup.

Hahaha this is a wonderful!!! I’m definitely just going to start sending lamps, ski poles, and baseball bats, jk. You know just make things a bit more difficult haha. Definitely need to send all the Mojos I constantly randomly find. The ball that will never go away.
