you mean installing a military regime in shadow of government for almost 40 decades with US and leaving most of those that helped Japanese rule in Korea in government??? Right...WWI? Justified ! WWII? Justified...Korean war? It was about US taking control of Korea .Also, banning communist movements and locking up political prisoners is not freedom either, especially considering MOST of the rebel forces against Japan there were communist.Neither was leaving puppet government from Japan to still rule(not all of it thou) and putting up a military regime.Neither was massacring Chinese civilians and destroying China town...thou that was South Korean government/military fault and fault of US,but that is another story. And what about "burn all" policy for North Korea? I guess trying to commit basically genocide/country size massacre to fight the "plague of communism" was also for democracy and freedom? Even Reich did not go through what North Korea went through during that war...any excuse for such an act is an insult to humanity. I find it funny that for most of existence of South Korea, its army had to respond and obey US by treaty... That being said,it did prosper a lot with help of US and to some degree Commonwealth. But saying any of them fought for freedom and democracy there is quite funny.

@@patriot1724 Yet the Anzacs were the only one's to put a stop to Rommel and his Egypt campaign after all the other allies failed. We literally started kicking arse from the moment we landed. Anzac's were a small force, but a force literally built with heroic blood. Like Charles Upham, the only combat personal to win the VC twice and when the King pointed out to his executive military staff that to win the VC more than once would be highly unlikely, his staff replied with stating that in their opinion Upham had earn't/deserved it more times than that. Out of the whole empire, Charles Upham a man from little ol' NZ, the only combat soldier to win a VC twice in history. We didn't have as much troops, but we had many heroes and mythical characters. We should have more movies and video games made of our stories.

I could not fault this amazing production. Well done. Of interest, at about 2:10, the sidearm is stowed for a "cross-draw", which is correct for wearing a cape, such as a greatcoat, or a gas-cape. The manuals tell you to do it the other way around, but that is literal suicide. I still have my original 'Nam giggle-hat, and scrim-net scarf! (And battle-dress and tattered jungle-greens that seem to have shrunk alarmingly over the decades!) My "Skill at Arms, Rifle" decoration was stolen. RSAR II.
