3 жыл бұрынMy BMW M135i has already covered over 1000 miles so It is about time I gave an update to the ownership experience of BMW's performance hatchback in my 1000 miles BMW M135i review. There are a few niggles and problems that have risen their heads but to find out what they are have a watch of the video.

To synch heating just programme the number 8 button to short cut button to synch heating

Still loving my 21 plate 135. Although I’m struggling to use it, only 389 miles in....sunroof and alcantara seats are spot on...

Hey mate, easy one for the sync issue- just assign one of the shortcut keys to the sync function. That’s what I’ve done with mine 👍🏼

Just say ‘hi BMW’ tell it what you want ie sync temp or turn on A/C and it does it for you! Love mine so so quick! I’ve had golf r and focus RS and this beats both hands down!!

Picked mine up last week. Agree loving it so far. The annoyance of them mapping out the pops and bangs with the new OPF but leaving them in on startup is infuriating though. Feels a bit like a “look what you could have won” if you bought it a year earlier before the OPF change haha

No overrun pops on aggressive downshifts? Have you coded in the permanently open valve?

Hi Matt. I've just ordered one as well, can't wait to get it! Hopefully July delivery 🤞🏻 It's on 18's with passive suspension. It will be my daily driver. I'm going from a Golf GTD 7.5 where the suspension is just right in my opinion. Do you think it will be ok or too stiff?

I have mine Bimmercoded to startup in sport individual, gearbox comfort and steering in sport. Then I have a Remus Sport system with valve still in so it barks when I want it to and as a daily driver, whisper quiet in comfort. The sound system no issues, with HK. Love the operating system 7 over my old m240i coupe's whatever that was (5?). Flat spot yes at the very top but manually shift at 5.5k seems perfect. Bimmercode you can disable start stop 👍

How different does it sound with the Remus system?

@@mattsmartcars it's about 30% louder and a lot deeper. Not raw or 'boy-racer' sounding, so nice. My car is with Celtic Tuning today and even they said that it sounds really nice compared to stock. I think stock sounds OK just not quite raw enough which is odd as the stick silencer on an m135i is M Performance believe it or not 👍

I've just ordered one of these, currently have an M140i. I don't care about engine noise, just the HK. Is it better than the 360w variant in the 40? And was the bass issue only a problem with the car you had? Cheers.

I had a F20 LCI (2016) for 160K kilometers. Fully loaded in Valencia Orange. Absolutely loved everything about it. But.. I also had the HK sound system and sometimes the bass was just gone. It was there again after I completely turned off the car and let it sit for 15 minutes or so. So annoying! Really shitty that they still hasn't found a solution for it. It was a quirk what I accepted over time.

Yes but what colour is it? Seriously I am tempted by one of these. The combination of 4wd and and tons of power works really well think.

Don't you just ask the assistant to change the temperature or sync the heating or open windows, on ours you do so you don't need buttons.

Hi Matt, I had the same issue with the bass. Some days works perfectly other day not. It ended being and amplifier issue. BMW covered it under warranty. Just had to get it ordered from Germany. It’s worked perfectly since being replaced though 👍🏼

@@r4nn3rd Do you have to sync it every time you get in the car or once you have synced it does it stay that way all the time? if it does why is it a problem? once I set it to sync in my present car it stays that way, never see the point in changing it myself.

@@cmpillred277 it stays synced until someone changes the other side. Then you have to go back into the menus. Problem is strong more an irritation really. I don’t think the ac/heating is the best setup on it 🤷🏻♂️

How does the picking up bit go? didn't think you were supposed to travel too far or is it fairly local?

Went for a Covid test day before 65 miles away unfortunately but legitimate reason so needs must. It's a lovely motor very impressive, tech very good, easier to get the power down than 340i so quicker point to point. Gear box not quite as good as ZF, but all round easier to live with everyday. Pleased with my choice.

Hey Matt here's an idea. Before shooting a video BLOW YOUR NOSE! That way we'll be able to enjoy your production without the constant sniffing and wiping your nose on the back of you hand. Thank you.

@@mattsmartcars that's not TOO bad, were you given any run in advice or is it just more of a, take it easy for the first 1000/1500 miles or so?

@@AidanM94x no it isn't too bad! I haven't exactly driven it with economy in mind either, low 30s to the gallon. No official advice but I have found from past experience they loosen off past 1500ish miles.

Use voice for climate control. The HK is a know fault, go back to the dealer.
