Thousands of hummingbirds visit Ensifera Camp in Urubamba, Peru, and many different species of hummingbirds visit the feeders here. Chef Cesar Cusihouman made us lunch while we photographed the Giant Hummingbirds, the White-at bellied Woodstars and a Sparkling Violetears.

What gorgeous footage of these amazing birds. Every video I watch I feel like I am watching a National Geographic level documentary except better because it’s accessible to anyone with an internet connection and KZfaq. Compliments to you and your team for all the work you are doing.

Absolutely idyllic photography of hummingbirds, tiny to giant, feeding on the same red flowers! The music added to the splendor of the video as well! I thoroughly enjoyed finding this video, Carole, that I had not yet seen! Lifted my spirits and my day! You are such an inspiration!

They're so beautiful and that garden is magical. It would be great to see a wide angle film to see how all those birds fit into the landscape. Must be quite something to experience!

The birds are all gorgeous but that Sparkling Violetear is heavenly. What a beautiful place Cesar Cusihuaman has there. It is so nice that he helps the birds that live around him. A wonderful place and beautiful photos and video … fabulous.

Really neat seeing the Giant Hummingbird's slow, slow motion wingbeats compared to the much smaller species visiting the flower with it (see 3:51). Perched it looks almost too big to be a real hummingbird.

I just discovered this video... Wow, what a beautiful treat, visually. The music is perfect for the images of hummingbirds. I really want to visit this place, it looks so inviting! I guess it's the same place they installed a webcam to follow the hummingbirds? The name of Urubamba sounds familiar.

Yes, the place is called Sanctuario de Colibries - Ensifera Ensifera and it is in Urubamba.

I watched more of your videos, learned more about Hummingbirds and Peru with beautiful landscapes, so fascinating !!! :) Yes I'm working on it - never thought of it before - and hopefully it won't be too long before I can take off and visit Peru. was just watching this, and a hummingbird stopped right in front of my studio apt window for a couple seconds! i have lived here 3 years and never seen one before! (just wish i had a way to put out a feeder, but i don't :( (I don't have a patio or anything)
