They're actually really smart IMO. They used their shields continuously throughout the fight, as well as corner and team up on some some zombies.

@miz miz don’t think people would be happy to have iron golems removed, they are the only way to farm iron and iron golems have been around for a long long time. also speed runners use them as an early source of iron

Honestly, I think the more "Minecraft" way to do it would be to have the villagers repair iron golems and clerics to heal villagers and players with splash potions
