This time I fed my mealworms some hot chili, a whole live chili plant, radish, cactus and chicken feet
This video answers the age old question, yes, mealworms can eat hot chili :)
Some info about mealworms:
Mealworms are the larval form of the mealworm beetle, Tenebrio molitor, a species of darkling beetle. Like all holometabolic insects, they go through four life stages: egg, larva, pupa, and adult. Larvae typically measure about 2.5 cm or more, whereas adults are generally between 1.25 and 1.8 cm in length.
Burrowing and eating are a top priority when it comes to being a mealworm, and they will eat just about anything. They will eat grains, vegetables, any organic material, fresh or decaying. This plays a huge role in the ecosystem. Mealworms aid in the decomposition of any spoiled organic material.

@pekkerwrekker not when mealworms like these sprout wings. We'd have to be dependent on insecticide, and when they gain resistance to it, most of the world would have no crops.

@@dustyc324 we don't really grind our food up like herbivores so most seeds make it through intact. Of course we're still pretty weird in that despite having the ability to, we didn't just breed the spiciness out, we also breed some to be even HOTTER. Like, there is no practical reason for peppers like Carolina Reapers to exist other than we like torturing ourselves with them (I suppose the capsicum can be extracted and used as a pest deterrent but COME ON.... CRs aren't even the hottest ones in existence)

As I noticed, sometimes they do bite into each other but when that happens the one that got bitten into starts to roll and wiggle rapidly, and by doing that escapes. But if one dies the others sometimes eat it. (My last vid during the macro shots you can see a dead one being eaten)
