bhai sahab...aap jaise aur mere jaise middle class aadmi ke liye bahut muskil ho jaata hai isko maintain karna...really it hearts when our expense goes more than 15 k in every service..i too own harrier 2021 model and driven almost 66000 in 2.5 years...clutch costed me also approx. 25000...and its clutch failed two timesin bumber to bumber traffic in moutains...very big problem faced by me

Hi monoj sir i am a big fan of yours. N i have seen all your videos. I am also a mechanic of diesel vehicle . Flywheel changing was not necessary for your car according to me. They could have done tron in leathe machine which would have cost around 2000 maximum. I have also tron flywheel. But changing of flywheel is meaningless for me.

Most reliable car is Lexus in my opinion. The only thing we changed or spent money on after 500,000 kilometres was brake pads, this one was Lexus 350 Hybrid. Second best is Honda (hands down) in reliability department.

Nice review sir. Though you can something’s like…try to reset the infotainment system to factory system…might help with camera glitch. Also, Tata has already rolled out some updates on infotainment system. Try to get it done at a better service station. In Noida I doubt you might get better response from service Centers. You can try Arya motors Gurgaon or Auto Vikas in Faridabad. Also they might retune your vehicle if possible.

One thing I want to add on my personal experience with my friend's Skoda Yeti 2.0 4x4 model, it started having clanking noise whenever the car is on idle so my friend got it checked and it's flywheel was damaged ( Flywheel resembles a large, heavy disc that is connected to the end of the crankshaft and interacts with the clutch disc to engage drive to the wheels) so basically it's an essential component of the engine. We didn't go ASC route to get it repaired instead we opted for our trusted FNG route, he quoted the price of around 25k for the flywheel which did seem quite a lot to us ngl and based on the previous records, we know that this garage has the reputation of using genuine parts, so we had the piece of mind. To be very honest, 90k for the whole setup is absurd amount of money considering it's coming from an Indian brand instead of any German or American brand.

Tata dealer might have taken you for a ride, changing flywheel is not necessary, it's replacement is based on condition and if its good only clutch kit should be replaced.

Man, feel you, I totally agree with you. My harrier odo 87000km, and just yesterday I paid 18k on service. On 60k I had to change stearing rack, then again had issue of suspension noise, they change something, then still suspension noise persisted. Spare parts cost too high. Had multiple issue of interior sqeezing noise. But they thing it's almost keep me bliend that is it's looks and road presence. There is no car except fortuner in today's market segment is so matured designed. And I even go further that front grill has spoiled in new harrier. The OG front grill is the best grill design in my view.

You are correct. I just changed my clutch 5 days back and service center told me that I have to change the fly wheel too and yes that cost me 70361.

Local micanic se work hota to 25 to 30 thousand me ho jata clutch or fling will ka 90 thousand high costing 😮

Thank you for the review. I am a automobile engineer. Flywheel are made for life of the car which is about 5 to 7 lakhs kms. It gets damaged very rarely. It gets damaged if driving is more in city or very Harsh conditions. Pricing for clutch and flywheel is totally justified as flywheel is a part of engine. Service cost must around 10k. Please check your service bill if something unwanted is being added. I want to know the average milage of your car.
