Watching these old videos again feels so nostalgic. Really are videos of their time. And I still enjoy them.

The Kid didn't just burn the Patch. The full explanation of what happened is that the kid was given $150 worth of Airsoft Gear by that team in order to get started. He was also given a team patch, hand knit by the guy who shot at him's grandmother who had passed away shortly after the kid received the patch. Basically, the kid took the expensive Airsoft gear from the team, and then quit the team and burned the patch, which obviously was in extremely poor taste. After shooting him the guy talked to the kid and explained to people how he used low caliber ammo, and if he wanted to really hurt him he would have used something more painful. He also says he talked to the kid after, and the kid said he was fine, and that he sort of expected that to happen. They made up, and everyone was fine. The kid deserved everything he got, and in my opinion even more. The uploader of the video leaves out the full story, hence why there is so many dislikes.

6:00 service dogs really need to maintain focus, their job is very important. my friends service dog helps with his deafness, and wears a cute little vest when he's on duty. people still end up petting the dog though and that distracts the dog and causes him to pull and behave in ways he shouldn't and it causes issues. if you see a dog please be sure to ask before petting it, they could be doing a very important job!

Once, when I was working at Subway, someone came in with a service dog (he was blind). I made his sub (lovely experience), and later when he was sitting at a table, I came to him and asked if I could give his dog a small piece of ham. He very nicely and greatfully said no, because service dogs (especially for blind people) has to have minimum of that kind of contact with other people (related to a special kind of trust with their owner). I'm guessing that means that people also can't suddently jump towards them and cuddle either, if there isn't some kind of process involved first. I asked if I could give the ham to the man instead, so he could then give it to the dog, which was just as lovely to see. The man in this video said "please don't touch or talk to him, he's a service dog" in a rush because she was rushing towards the dog herself. The dog was a puppy, and probably has to have more strict training than if it was older. It seems like he had to stop her before she did, and she got offended and said "okey, get out of here", which was kind of rude.

For the airsoft story, the guys grandma made the patch and his team also bought the kid some decent airsoft equipment. The shooters grandma passed a couple of months later and following that the kid left the team. He burned the handmade patch and kept the rifle and other gear. I think it is pretty justifyable as an airsoft player... never mess with another mans patch

Service dog video explanation if you thought it was weird: It's common courtesy to not distract service dogs. They are companions trained specifically to help warn/identify potentially dangerous health situations. They are not there for your enjoyment, they are actively on duty. Yes the guy is rude and steps out of line but only after he gives her a legitimate explanation of the situation, and she insists on pressing him because should couldn't handle her feelings being hurt, Ignorance isn't an excuse. Its incredibly frustrating to service dog owners to constantly go out in public and have people whistle, and pet your service dog. I don't personally have a service animal but there is plenty of videos on you-tube and legitimate peer reviewed articles if you need to to gain perspective.

If anyone want more info on the burnt patch video here you go : The team helped this kid getting into airsoft by giving him some gear (weapon and shit) and also the patch. This patch was handmade by the grandma of the guy who shot and she died not a long time prior to this event and then the kid filmed himself burning the patch and quitting the team. So yeah, if you ask me, he deserves his punishment.
