Hi ib, Steve is incorrect, the Aprilia does NOT have 70cc more than the R1M. The RSV4RF and R1M are 1000cc bikes, the Tuono is a 1077cc motorcycle.

An extra ten hp on the BMW and Ducati, very impressive. The H2 blew every other bike out of the water.

There are not 70cc more for the Aprilia. The operator is thinking of the Tuono V4RR.

What impressed me is that all 2017 superbikes in bone-stock configuration, no tuning at all makes more power than 2016 superbikes with ECU flashes and aftermarket exhausts.

The Ducati makes 2 most hp.. most torque ... and is the lightest bike by a big margin .. has the best power to weight ratio ... what a beast ..

Shows ya that even 10hp + 300cc down the factory must be working miracles in world super bikes.

Like you guys, I'm quite shocked at how close - heck, identical the ZX10, R1M & Aprilia were! That's crazy, but cool to show how far the sport bike world has come. Regardless of engine type, it's a pretty level playing field. Watching some previous smackdowns, I had a feeling a lot of them were close (naturally aspirated at least) and only rider weight and response to flag being dropped was what made the difference. Great video Ib and looking forward to the next shootout. I suspect your H2 will slightly outperform Steve's with all the work Brock put in on it and his Panigale will obviously outperform yours. I'm very curious to see the matchup between your older HP4 and the newer S1000RR.

GREAT VIDEO!!! Finally an accurate Dyno reading!! My boss' R1 with the superbikeunlimited flash was pushing 179hp! It's at 183 now, with a custom tune! These videos claiming 200hp for a 2015 R1 with a slip on are CRAZY!!!!

yes I agree I just recently purchased an aprilia rf and it runs great stock.I have an 06 gixxer 1000 with some mods.They say it gets to 140mph faster than an s1000.I believe it mine is fast from 3000 rpms and on.K6 holds its own even after 10yrs.Best low end mid range Ive felt.Great video ,thanks ib

Throw on the race ECU with that Aprilia with that SC Project and a BMC filter. My friend put it on his dyno and got 204 hp at the wheel on 93 octane. The air fuel ratio was good but needs a little bit tuning to perfection.

I noticed that the EBR bogged a bit until it got into the powerband. They definitely need to work on their low end power. Which is wired since it is a Vtwin.
