I notice for this video in my iPhone KZfaq app I now have a 2160p selection option, used to only go up to 1440p, interesting. Awesome video by the way, you guys got me listening to Tony Anderson's music 🎶 now after seeing the Peru 8K video. Thanks.

They don't, it doesn't actually display 4k. Instead some KZfaqrs upscale their recordings so they get better bitrates on KZfaq, therefore the video looks less compressed.

I have an honest question. I have 4K footage I shot in Alaska but I want to upload it in HDR. Does the camera itself have to have HDR or can I apply the HDR via post processing. I use davinci resolve so any advice would be helpful!

HDR is applied in post. But you do need a a camera that can capture enough dynamic range to capture HDR.

How come no 60p again?

Christopher Dobey 24p gives us 2.5x slower shots that 60p when we shoot at 1000 fps- it's a creative decision we choose for our slow motion and more cinematic works.

Hey Sam! love your MysteryBox Blog. Ok so it was indeed to get the footage as slow as possible. I feel the 60p project frame rate looks especially enticing, since next to nobody but you guys take high frame rate 4K footage and slow it down and play it back at 60p. Jacob's videos and your blog posts got me inspired to film in 4K60p!
