With the Tuareg 660, Aprilia wants to revamp the mid-range touring enduro segment. To achieve this, the compromise between on-road and off-road performance needs to be struck well. On Sardinia's beautiful roads and gravel paths McGregor checked whether the Italians have found the golden middle between those two worlds.

I think I am going to do the exact same. Not 100% sure(Tuono is🔥)but will take a test ride and decide.

Looks like the bike that everyone has been screaming for. Light weight, plenty of power, do anything. I'm gonna keep my eyes peeled on this one. Great review!

Light weight ?? I bet it's same as t700 top heavy ... Not like 790 or 890

450km range is not only not bad, it's far more than A LOT of motorcycles. It's excellent and way above average.

some of the the plastc on the Norden feel like it'll crack too easily ... less than ideal for off road tip overs..

Lots of riders love all the electronic aids............ that is until it costs them thousands of dollars to fix. Yamaha was right, with a small relatively light adventure bike with 70 hp or so who needs traction control and different rider modes? Nice bike though.

I like how basic my T7 is, I don't even have ABS.

The t7 just lacks the quick shifter and cruise control in term of electronics. Also weight distribution is rather high, suspensions are too soft and range is not enough. Not only my opinion. I hope they fix some of these "issues" for the next model. Thus said it's true that I don't want to rely on electronics once on terrain! Hard to find the one^^ love the t7 though and looking forward to trying the norden and tuareg!

@@guillaume05ch Yes cruise would be nice, u can fit it but its not cheap. I do have a quickshifter on my T7 but only for upshifts.

@@JohnSmith-ef8nr having only tested t7 several times I was unaware of such options. Thanks for the enlightening! It's not cheap on any other bike either I guess :)

@@guillaume05ch They are aftermarket options though, if u keep adding things to the T7 your in KTM money, but I like the T7 so much I wouldn't change it for anything.
